This is where someone would make a Brett Ratner would do it joke, but... Ya know.

At the end of the day. It a major picture that could lead to plenty future gigs. Have a nice payday for them.

If it succeeds then they basically get painted as Jesus Christ resurrected.

Directors need gigs. For the art doesn't put money on the table.

If anything a bigger director may actually get more pull. "Yeah I'll direct your as long as you stay the F*** out of my way".........Steven Spielberg

I think Flashpoint will be DCEU's version of Civil War. While Civil War was a Captain America movie, he wasn't the only focus. I think Flashpoint will be much of the same. If it does well, a JL2 will follow that following the events from Flashpoint.

Only issue will be convincing Affleck to reprise the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, or finding a good replacement.

That's such a mistake to make the worst actor/character from the Justice League movie the main character in a movie that's supposed to redeem the DCEU.

who would you put in a horror, comedy, detective, atcion with a little romantic in line movie?

In flashpoint they will be able to break many walls to show many scenarios, hope aquaman and wonder woman war will be part of this plot together with more villians and battles.

In Batman the action, horror and detective work with some humor needs to hapen, more powerfull villians could solve that problem. Btman would need muscles technology and a team with alfred , batgirl or robin to solve that problem.

Let's just cancel all future JL movies. They just can't get it right.

The world doesn't need one.

I wouldn't go that far but I think they do need to focus on getting their house in order before they even think of attempting another crossover.

Hey a perfect time for see what George Miller would do and as mentioned before, Stay out of his way!!

I think it's to late for that. I mean even if they continue I think they will just limp on. As major DC fan I cried as walked out of Avengers because I knew that there is no way WB could ever come close to top that. The reason being is they don't know what their doing. They have wrong talents working on these film save for Wonder-Woman. Any and all future projects will be tainted by previous films.

I think at this point they should just back off and let it go for now. In few years they should come back and try again.

Where's the "Some guy/gal who's directed some TV Show Episodes" option

What about Zemeckis? I have a half baked fantasy of him directing a Superman movie that softly reboots the character with Luthor, Metallo, and Intergang as villains then leads to a JL event film with Brainiac invading Earth. Like I said, just a half baked idea but I think Zemeckis has the ability to juggle character, emotion, & pure fun spectacle.
