I kind of want the Doctor to have an american companion one day.
I wouldn't mind that, but I have a feeling they'd cast a Brit and have them do the most hilariously terrible fake American accent of all time.I kind of want the Doctor to have an american companion one day.
Just curious, could the Doctor regenerate into a woman?
Apparently he doesn't want to be a ginger enough, either.According to the Doctor, a friend of his called the Corsair regenerated into a woman once. So probably. However, I think the Doctor has limited control over his regenerations, so he'd probably have to want to become a woman for that to happen.

That'd be interesting, have a feeling it's more likely he'll regenerate into an African-Britian(?) before a woman.Yes.
Won't happen, though.
Would it really matter for the Doctor? It's only 30 years or so. Dude's over 1000 now.
Isn't Colin Baker the least popular Doctor?I kinda stay away from that entire era, to be honest. I tried watching C. Baker's first episode, and I just couldnt finish it.

I've always kinda wanted Chiwetel Ejiofor (sp?) to be a Doctor
I think they would cast an American but not many American actors usually move to the UK to do British TV shows.I wouldn't mind that, but I have a feeling they'd cast a Brit and have them do the most hilariously terrible fake American accent of all time.

Why was River in 1938? Is it a case of River being River (probably) or what? Because if she is there with the intent of being there because the book dictates her being there, then she will also have knowledge of future events. But then the episode doesn't imply this, so River is just randomly in 1938 to service the story? Wut.

a British actress trying to sound like an American... right, like THAT really worked...
get a REAL American to play an American companion...
I'm a little confused by the ending. When we saw people being zapped back in time, they were alone in a room till death. So, are both Amy and Rory really together or alone in separate rooms? Did I miss something here?
