Based on what I'm hearing from Sony and Microsoft, there's gonna be a big shakeup in the console wars. Nintendo may very well be poised to end up on top again.

The used games thing is something that's going to happen eventually. I don't think they're making the Kinect manadatory as much as they're going to build it into the actual console.

Still, I think Nintendo is poised to pull ahead. Besides, in the overall sale side of things Nintendo has been winning for awhile.

You are not alone. I'm really starting to hate shooters. The storylines are bland and the gameplay has become extremely redundant. The only time I play shooters anymore is when my buddies want to play Halo online. Other than that I've been searching for my interesting games. It seems that modern shooters are all the same shade of brownish grey and have just gotten dull.

I feel you, but that's why a game like Bioshock is so special. It's an FPS, but it's far more different than COD. I will say though that taking a break from them and coming back helps. I haven't played a COD game in a while until I played Black Ops zombies with my brother yesterday and a week ago. It's some of the best fun I've had with a video game in a while. The Call of Duty games are awesomely built, but they make so many of them that I can see the fatigue.

I got sick of them around the time Halo 2 came out. I beat the single player mission and then tried playing online but got sick of the **** talking. Around that time more and more companies were spitting out 1st person shooters like wildfire.

I don't like first person, prefer to see the character I control during gameplay
I think I play a lot of games, compared to other gamers here I'm casual, so I think I'm fine in not having some redundant genre

Here's my issue with modern gaming: there aren't enough games featuring Wario. Those WarioWare games don't count. Wario>>>>> all other game characters ever.

I do confess I like the Borderlands games only because they have some variety and are a little more tongue in cheek about the whole fps concept.
