I hate that I just got a call from my college and one of my classes just got cancelled due to low enrollment. What really pisses me off is I just ordered the book from Amazon a few days ago and it arrived in the mail TODAY. Sooo I had to make a mad dash to the college to find another class (the semester starts monday so every good class is taken) and now I have to figure out how to buy a new (more expensive) book. I'm just overjoyed with the whole damn thing.

I call bull on not being 'allowed' to walk out of a movie. Sometimes you just get tricked.

If I go to a movie, and it sucks, why do I have to continue to put myself through it? And why should I not get my money back (assuming I didn't stay for all but 10 minutes or something)?

Luckily, there's only ever been 2 movies I've wanted to walk out on. One we didn't because it was such a train-wreck, we had to finish watching it just to see how bad it would get (it was worth the price of admission just for one of the trailers, though).

The 2nd, I was ready to get up and go. But I had taken my mom to see it, and she was enjoying it. So I had to suffer through it.


As for what people think if I leave? **** if I care. How do they know I'm not just going to the bathroom. If the people are paying more attention to whether I leave than they are to the movie, then it's probably a movie worth leaving

I hate that they want to do a re-shoot of the PSA that I was in because the lighting wasn't right, and that they want me to show up tomorrow when I'm not free. I was really hoping that people would leave me alone and not ask for favors once I graduated.

YES!!! I agree. There's no reason for that. Walkouts can also ruin peoples theater going experience. When I saw Cosmopolis there were so many walkouts that by the time the credits rolled I was the only person in the theater (there were only 15 or so people in there to begin with). It made me start to question whether or not I was enjoying the movie and it distracted me..
