Don't Hate The Hater, Hate The Hate! - - Part 14

Regarding printers, unless you're printing stuff almost everyday it's not really worth owning one. Your local library or stationary store will print stuff very cheap, if you're only doing it now and then.

I hate buying ink cartridges. I think I'm just gonna buy a new printer every time I run out of ink.

Google 'continuous ink system' or refillable ink cartridges.

I got an older printer on craigslist, ordered a CIS kit online, and got some ink on ebay. Very cheap to print a lot.

So all this talk about printers, I used to work for Staples....

I hate Staples :)

I did that.

Then my old printer fizzled out its print head and refused to print magenta. :oldrazz: I got a laser printer last week, and gave away what was left of my refillable ink system this morning. Buyer beware on those older printers. Print heads always cost more than a new printer.

Did you not print a while? Sometimes the drain line gets clogged if you let it sit without printing. I take the cartridges out since I only print once in a while.

It was a print head issue, for sure. I cleaned it out until I could see no more color. This actually took days, because I bought window cleaner (which supposed is really good for cleaning print heads) and let it sit and rinsed it periodically with a syringe and fresh window cleaner for days. It was probably the cleanest a printer will ever be, except when it's taken out of the box new. :funny: And the magenta never worked again.

When my printer broke, I dissembled it and sold the good parts on ebay. Then, I bought the same printer again so I could still use my cartridges. I made a tiny profit in the end :P

That requires far more effort than I'm willing to put in. :funny:

i hate when i accidentally close a tab by mistake :(

i'm on Opera and this is a tab I'd been "saving" for a few weeks now. it's an old thread on here that's a good 150+ pages that i've been re-reading and was somewhere around the 60's. i accidentally clicked the X.

Opera's good for leaving tabs and shutting it down and when I open it again, there they are.

Check your history? There's always another way!

Chrome and Firefox do that too. :oldrazz:

i found the tab, its just frustrating lol

Ctrl+Shift+T brings back the last closed tabs in all browsers.

I hate that I have a cousin from DR who keeps messaging me on Facebook. I finally got in contact with my dad for the first time in years about a year ago, and even though we barely speak, I still have family members from his side trying to talk to me and meet me, even though I'm still trying to build that relationship with him after not seeing him for my whole life.

I've pretty much been going through this phase ever since I graduated where I don't want to talk to anyone that's going to lead to me making some kind of commitment to going out to do stuff with them. So to have someone who I don't even know and have never met constantly bother me about being wanting to meet is annoying. Not to mention, my dad lives in another state so its been super hard trying to stay in touch with him, especially since I still have some resentment issues with him. In fact, the only reason we met again was because I tracked him down online and had a friend drive me to find him.

they want to meet you, and you're having a hard time getting in touch with your dad. it's not fair to punish them for that and there's nothing that says that you have to hang out every weekend if you meet each other.

Had to dissect fish today. Didn't use gloves. Helped lots of students, dug around in lots of fish guts. Now my hands permanently smell like fish.

Hate it. But it was totally my fault. :csad:

I hate this thing celebrities do where they put their palms together like they're praying and bow repeatedly after mentioning another celebrity. They usually do it during interviews after the interviewers asks "So how was it working with such and such?" and before they verbally *********e all over their co-star.

I actually go to this place that just refills my cartridges for about $20.

Or do it at work ... Shhhhhh
