I hate that an arrogant 17 year old girl made me have my first bad day at film school. There was a group of us that were playing around with lighting and framing and just getting a feel for cinematography. This one surly 17 year old was sitting in that back and not participating. We asked her if she wanted to step in and she informed us that she had 6 years of experience in film and did need our help. When I asked her what this experience was, turns out she ran her high school A/V club. Anywho, it came her time to "direct" our shot and she would not communicate with anyone else what she wanted. She chased everyone off and set up the shot herself. Shocker, it was a ****ing terrible shot. Anytime anyone would offer suggestion, she would boldly claim she has more experience than us and doesn't need our help. I got damn close to putting my boot up that little *****es ass. I'm sick of the youth in my area being so goddamned arrogant. You don't know anything. You're just a baby.

I should have listened to a number of my friends when they told me not to get an iPod. I hate that I'm on my second iPod now and it's starting to have problems like the last one. I take real good care of it too, I haven't dropped it and whenever I put it down somewhere I do it gently. Earlier at work, it turned itself off and I did a reboot and fixed the problem I was having previously. That problem was that whenever I would push the pad to go to the next song or go into a new folder, it would take 3-4 seconds to actually change when it should be almost instantaneous. After the reboot it started working again, but halfway through a few random songs it would skip to the next one on it's own...which is the problem I had on my first iPod before it completely died on me. Apple products...never again. Now it's time to start doing some research on some good portable mp3 players.

Are you using the earbuds with the button controls?

Those can short if you move it just right, sending the skip signal to the ipod. Or even volume adjust.

Good luck with that, thanks to smartphones mp3 players are on the verge of becoming extinct. Unless you go on ebay, the only ones that are good for large collections of music are ipods.

Well that stinks. I have enough problems with my phone battery as it is. It seems like I charge the phone more than actually using it. Listening to music all day at work would burn through it.

I'm hoping that after we turn in our first projects, the instructors take her down a peg or two. The other issue is she does what I see a lot of other girls that age do. They mumble, and then when you ask them to speak up they snap at you. I don't know why they mumble, but they do and I hate it. I fought with my sister for years to get her to speak at an audible level. She just mumbled through every thought she had.
