I just don't eat lunch at work. Never have. I ate outside when I worked at the mall, in the car or at a nearby restaurant when I worked at an electronics store for some years, and nowadays I just nap during my lunch breaks.

I feel your pain! There's a couple of people at work who tend to do that and it's very annoying. Even my boss respects my lunchtime, but these two morons see nothing wrong with coming up to ask me questions or talk while i'm eating. I'm this close to just saying: i'm eating, talk to me later when i'm done.

At my last job, there was this big Santa Claus looking mofo(his beard was brown not white though). Whether you were at lunch or even talking to another coworker off of lunch, he would stand there and instead of saying something to jump in the conversation he would sigh heavily. My Supervisor and I got fed up with that real quick. When I would be eating lunch while using the internet, I could see him come up out of the corner of my eye and I would pretend like I didn't know he was there. He would then proceed to sigh heavily. He couldn't just say my name or tap me on the shoulder, he had to always be annoying about it. Luckily my new job doesn't have any annoying people.

put some headphones on and people will leave you on. i've literally done that and had them plugged into nothing

I'll definitely have to bring some in tomorrow.

Or I hate it when I want to eat lunch by myself in private but a co-worker is at the table which now requires me to do small talk.

I hate that there are some posters who seem to be homophobic on here. With comic books focusing on 'mutant' (minority) rights to the X-Men films and comics and beyond, I just always thought most to all comic fans would have taken that message away from comics. To me, being accepting of everyone is a strong part of the hero's code.

It's funny (in a completely humorless sense) how that works, isn't it? Fans of Peter Parker can be bullies, fans of Superman can be treacherous and so on. We root for these characters to win the day and cheer them along when they triumph over the bigoted, ignorant and evil, yet there are still those who wander back into the real world only to be those things themselves. But I guess it's the old adage, the villain never thinks they're the villain.

I hate how I haven't really had any time to post here ever since I started working.

And I hate how I finally got my first paycheck today and it caused a whole ripple effect that has divided my family, since I'm trying to give something to my mom to help her out, but she's not happy with the terms I chose. Because of this, I just finished cursing out my sister on the phone.

i hate how much of a tolerance for pain medication my body has. i took 3500mg yesterday to have hardly any relief. i'm even immune to some things like novacaine and percoset. meh
