And from what I can tell, correct me if I'm wrong, Tex Mex uses more cheese than authentic Mexican food.

From my experience, this would be correct. A lot of dishes had no cheese, actually. But there were most definitely grilled tortillas everywhere.

I swear this was the most common train of thought.

So would I. I always thought most "Mexican" dishes, be they Americanized or not, to be really heavy. Aside from baked tortilla chips (which is definitely an American thing,) with fresh salsa, everything else has multiple fried components. Light Mexican anything doesn't really exist.

If you can rub it on your wallpaper without turning it transparent, it's not Mexican enough.

I hate when someone outbids you on Ebay, you have to bid an insane amount to retake the high bidder lead!! :argh:

I hate how unproductive I can be when I have too much free time. Its not so much because I get lazy, but more that there are so many things that I want to do that its hard to focus on one task and completing it all the way.

The value of biological parents and the child holding to the original surname sustaining binds that should not be severed
I never met my biological parents and have an adoptive surname - and I don't think my life could have possibly turned out better. No interest in my biological parents whatsoever, and that's not out of spite: it's out of satisfaction and, perhaps paradoxically, gratitude. :funny:

I'm kinda mad that my DVR didn't record the Story of Film on TCM.Now I have to wait till 4 am Wednesday to watch it.

It's not ungrateful, no disrespect in wanting to know where you came from

I never implied that it is.

I'm saying that, in some sense, my lack of interest in my biological origins is an expression of gratitude (at least, that's how I look at it). This does not necessarily imply that a desire to find one's biological roots is ungrateful.

Comcast OnDemand only has the first four episodes of Broadchurch. I want to see more!

i hate when you've only been awake like 3 minutes and someone wants to ask you 24,601 questions

CC, when are you gonna answer those questions?

i'll think about it tomorrow /scarletto'hara

I hate people who do returns when its really busy and wait in line for 10-15 minutes and wait until they get to the cashier to start looking for the receipt. "I have so many receipts!" Yeah **** you, have the receipt ready this wasn't a ****ing surprise.

I hate that too. What I really hate is when someone buys a bum a whole bunch of stuff then as soon as that person goes away the bum tries to return everything so that they can get the money.

We always tell that person to either get rid of the receipt or give it to us so we can get rid of it.

"Yes, I'd like to return this item. I bought it months ago, way past your cut-off date for returns. I don't have the receipt. And I paid for it in cash."

Those customers need to just crawl in a hole and die.

I think we can all say that if you work in customer service, you hate the customers.

I've actually had people that bring back an item with a receipt from 2-3 years ago and we have to take it back and give them a store credit for it.

It seems ridiculous to me that people want cash for stuff when the receipt clearly says 30 days on it. "I don't want store credit, I want my cash back." I want a lot of ****ing things.

I hate when people randomly disappear from text conversations..

I hate that social media is taking over other aspects of life. It pretty much runs everything.
