I hate these new SUVs the CHP has now. It was easier to spot them in the old cars.

I hate excessive negativity. People who find insults in a bouquet of roses, always looking for the dark cloud in a blue sky. Constantly down on themselves and everyone around them.

sorta the point :p

Yeah...I know, but I still hate it. I firmly believe in SoCal that CHP should be as visible as possible. Thereby giving the driver a sporting chance.

Le sigh.... I hate that the Chef aka my uncle just left without cooking all the meat I bought. He ruined everything!

Haha..... Just kidding. It was a beautiful 4th of July. I hope your's was too.

I hate having to work with people who seem to have no other purpose than to make my job harder. They do things I have to undo. They bail on you when you need them. They can't seem to understand the concept of a set time for breaks and lunch, leave early and come back late. So infuriating!!

I hate how these days I have this recurring headache

Where do you work?

I hate when you know a member clearly doesn't like you because they'll say things just to piss you off, even when they agree with you.

This is officially the most ridiculous thing I've seen, heard or read this week.

Yeah, it doesn't work that way. :funny:

Although sometimes, CHP SHOULD be visible if they are doing certain traffic related things. My parents' minivan once ended up facing the wrong side of traffic on the 5 after running over a mattress, and a CHP officer swept across the lanes with his car to give them room to get out. My mom thought that was so badass, but it wouldn't have been possible if people didn't know it was a CHP car. :funny:

lol...Yeah I know, but I'm a little vexed because I got pulled over recently for a "California roll". I am always cautious of CHP where I live because we have a station nearby, but I didn't even see him in his fancy new SUV. :woot: Thankfully, it was a my lucky day because he didn't give me a ticket, but I'm mad at myself that I didn't even see him. :oldrazz:

Overnights at Walmart.
Oh man, I know what you mean then.

Worst thing about retail is that it's probably one of the only jobs where they'll hire ANYBODY without knowing how lazy and worthless they really are.

I very briefly worked overnights at Wal Mart a few years ago. I was given my department alone to stock the shelves, with barely any training (a few days during the day shift and then all alone at night) and come to find out the previous worker had done "so well" by just stuffing **** on the shelves in the back then making the front look good so that it appears the customers are the ones who just messed up the shelves.

The week I started working overnight, the manager for the department went on a 2 week vacation, the temporary manager over-ordered a massive amount of stuff and when the pallets of crap they ordered weren't cleared off by the morning, somehow it was my fault I couldn't do 12 hours of work in less than 8.

That's the Wal Mart job experience for you and that's only one reason I don't shop there anymore or give them any business than is absolutely necessary (which thankfully, is maybe a few times a year for a handful of things).

Reading your initial post Hotwire, I had a feeling you might work there. It sounded way too much like my job, haha.

Yeah, retail blows at times. It's a low wage job, most people will not come in and work hard for what it pays.

I do inventory on overnights. I get more picks done than any other associate night after night. The people I work with closest are more concerned with going to break together and taling an extra 15 when they do or spending the night complaining about everything. It can be frustrating for sure.

i hate how tired i am all the time

My store just got a new manager and she is quite possibly the most abrasive, dislikable person I have ever met in my life.

Like, she is literally incapable of opening her mouth without speaking to anyone and everyone in the most scornfully condescending tone possible.

She's overhauling all of our store procedures in ways that are unnecessarily complicated, don't make sense, and don't make anything easier.

She reminds you that "I'm your boss" at every opportunity, and chews out people whose significant others visit them at work while meanwhile she has her husband hanging out with her in the office for hours.

She's been here for like 5 days tops, and the sight of her car in the parking lot when I pull into work makes me want to turn around and go home.

did my manager transfer to your job while i was out of town?

Anyone that has to remind you that they are the boss is a lousy boss. Hopefully she will mess up in a way to get her demoted or transferred.
