Don't Hate The Hater, Hate The Hate! - - - - - - - Part 19

I hate that particular breed of suburban Dad's.

Those ones that wander from the the corporate office parks after 5 every day to their kids little league practice or whatever. They drive the minivan or an extravagant SUV they can't parallel park to save their lives. Maybe they drive a Lexus, whatever. The type of parents I see wearing their golf polo's tucked into their khaki shorts and a holster for their cell phone on their belt. Topped off with a ridiculous sun visor.

Instead of watching his kid or giving advice to him or her, he's gossiping, more so than an old lady at church. Or he's yapping on and on with that cell phone of his.

I hate it when going to the movies you have to wade through 15-20 minutes of movie trailers before the actual movie starts.

The trailers are alright for me...the ads before the trailers gets annoying.

"WATCH AN EXCLUSIVE FEATURETTE FOR GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY MINUTES BEFORE YOU WATCH GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!"

Heh, I hate when people will get the last word in with their thoughts, and just end the post with, "anyways it's not important, lets move on". If it wasn't important, then why did you have to flesh out a full response, and then just end it with, "anyways, I'm above this conversation now".

It's such a snarky way of getting the last word in. :hehe:

Yeah, that truly sucks CC. I also hate whenever you get a dvd or blu ray in the mail & the disc sounds loose inside even before you open it. I also hate that since I started getting into the whole steelbook thing, a lot of the good titles with exquisite artworks are only available overseas. :cmad:

overseas has all the good stuff lol. futureshop too, but they don't ship to US :argh:

this is the first i've ordered from overseas that has arrived damaged, but they just sent me a response offering me a refund, so i'm happy about that. good customer service

I also hate, as I'm finding out about steelbooks, that a lot of them don't have the same special features as their regular counterparts. :argh:

I hate that on her 2nd day here, not only did our horrible new manager fire my best friend at work, but she's also banned from entering the store, and we have to call the police if she refuses.

I wasn't there so I'm not real clear. Something about Manager flipping out on Co-Worker for Co-Worker's little son hanging out in the office because Co-Worker didn't have a babysitter (which Old Manager didn't care about).

Argument ensued, Manager fired Co-Worker.

Co-Worker has a history of having drama swirling around her, which I'm sure led to the banning from the store. Still, I feel it's pretty excessive. It's not like she assaulted somebody.

I hate I just discovered the absolute goodness of Mexican sodas! This Fanta is the best! I'm mad I've been missing out all these years.

To give a little more context to my last couple posts, here's a sample of the strange, twisted love triangle drama that goes down at my store.

Our characters shall be called T, S (T's husband), and A (the recently fired co-worker).

T and A are women, S is a man. T and S are significantly older than A (who's in her early 20s).

T and S are married. Have been for fifteen years. Have a little boy. S is a sleazeball who can't keep it in his pants and has literally systematically worked his way through hitting on every single female of any age or physical appearance who has worked at our store in the whole time I've been here. He brought another co-worker bouquets of flowers for three days in a row until the creeped out, much younger girl complained to the former manager, who told S to cut it out. As always, S plays totally bewildered and innocent and says he just tries to be friendly.

Now, A by her description is a lesbian "95% of the time", but has a son from an ex-boyfriend and sometimes likes guys (or likes stringing guys along).

At some point, A started sending S nude pics of herself (though she denied this and played the victim). Apparently S and T tried to get A into a threesome situation, but it fell through and A and S now despise each other.

Meanwhile, T, who for all appearances was always a straight, married woman, became completely fixated with A, to the point that even the old manager noticed and got weirded out by it. T started visiting A incessantly on her days off while A was at work, bringing her gifts, helping pay her bills, giving her car rides, etc.

A tried to play the innocent victim being dragged kicking and screaming into T and S' weird dynamic, but everyone caught on to the fact that she enjoyed using a confused middle-aged woman having an identity/sexuality crisis and fixating on her to get favors, car rides, and basically having someone on a string on call 24/7 who was pathetically infatuated with her and would do anything for her at a moment's notice.

At some point, T told A she was in love with her.

Recently T told S she wants a separation and apparently is looking for a girlfriend. T is now on the verge of a breakdown and generally miserable because she's separated from her husband and has also been used and abandoned by A.

That's not even going into more lurid detail of this whole ongoing saga that all 3 of them have brought into the workplace for months on end.

Yup. It's better than a reality show.

Infidelity! Love triangles! Sexting! Lesbians!!!

lol..... That stuff never ceases to amaze me. It's why I'm glad I work out of the office.

That is a seriously messed up situation and I watch "The L Word" on a frequent basis.

I know you said that banning A from the store seemed excessive, but based on what you just wrote, it sounds like this woman brings drama with her wherever she goes. And T still works at this store? It might be the best thing for T that A not be allowed to come into the store.

And the rest of you guys might get a break from their crazy, loveless, lesbian drama.

Another fun bit....T once bought A a $30 lottery ticket on the same day that she and S' electricity got turned off because they were behind on bills.

lol. Irrational obsession at its finest.

I truly can never understand people who get obsessed with others like that, but I've seen it way too many times.

Everybody there got like, majorly weirded out by it.

Having to bear witness to T's sleazy middle-aged husband hitting hardcore on girls younger than me was uncomfortable enough.

Sounds like it be good for a new reality show on CMT. :o

Part of me feels a teensy bit sorry for T, while a bigger part of me is like "you made your bed, you can lay in it".
