That's awful! I have a friend who told me a few days ago, that his boss called him and said "you're in my office because your coworkers can't stand your smell". If I was him, I would never tell anyone about it. But I wouldn't be it, since I can't stand the idea that I smell bad.

I once went to a gas station to buy a soda with my debit card & they told me I had to spend a minimum of $5.00. I just told them, " here's your soda" & left.

Haha! At one of my last jobs, my district manager told me a story of how he went to Bath and Body works and bought a deodorant and body spray for someone who worked in his store. He said he walked up to the girl, held them out to her and said 'these are for you, use them!'

Do you mean when they won't allow you to read the books in the store? That's how Borders folded and why there are less Barnes & Noble stores than there used to be; people took advantage of their ability to read inside the store without purchasing anything.

In order to take credit cards as payment, most stores have to pay a fee. That fee becomes negligible or taken away by the banks when transactions are more expensive, but stores will actually lose money if they process something as small as a $1 purchase. Those fees are also why some stores don't accept certain types of credit cards.
