Well they were only going to do Zelda, but then people complained. Why the hell Nintendo thought streaming this much Pokemon footage, when the core game is virtual identical to all the others, is beyond me. They show off that amazing Zelda footage and then completely **** the bed with this boring, boring footage. Nintendo can't help but shoot themselves in the foot.
yepthey're still on Pokémon??

Pokemon is one of their megafranchises. You may not like it or care for it, but showing it only puts eyes on their stream. It's a much bigger franchise than Zelda is, frankly, so it's probably helping Zelda more than anything if it manages to keep some eyes for that footage.
I am going to say I honestly doubt this. Mainly as Pokemon while arguably the biggest Nintendo franchise, I can't imagine it being a big E3 game simply based on how it shows and the fanbase.Pokemon is one of their megafranchises. This is too much on Pokemon. There's really nothing that a Pokemon game can offer that'd make for a good live demo. Pokemon is pokemon. The formula is very much intact.
I have been playing Pokemon since I was 8 years old back in the Red & Blue days. I've played them all. I'm very much a Pokemon fan, but you have to admit that this stream is kinda painful thus far.

Thank god it's over, we can finally get back to Zelda, the game this stream is actually supposed to focus on

Call of Duty is also a very big deal, but when it's being presented they know not to go on and on and on about it because they understand it's probably not what people are really interested in.
Core audiences don't really watch Nintendo Treehouse. The main Zelda trailer on YT has over 107,000 views in less then 45 mins. Honestly think that is the main attraction today.Pokemon has a lot of bled over into the core audience. A lot of people are always clamoring for Pokemon at E3.
