Eddie Brock's Motivation Theory

Here's an interesting idea:

Looking at the origin of Eddie's hatred for Spiderman in the comics, it all revolves around Spiderman disproving the identity of Sin Eater, thus ending his journalistic career.

What if this is what happens in the movie except replace Sin Eater with Sandman? Let's say that Brock fabricates the story of Sandman being the one to kill Uncle Ben in order to give a shot to his career. Spiderman disproves it and that's Eddie's motivation in going after Peter as Venom.

Thoughts?

Thats an interesting idea. It very well could happen.

what if they show that sandman not only killed ben parker, but also killed norman osbourne?! then harry wouldn't be mad at peter anymore and they could team up! nah...all these theories...

we are talking here about both movies. and i know that in the first movie he said. you bring the pics and i will make them bad.

I'm so excited to see how Brock is played in this movie. I like this approach a lot more than classic Brock. From what I can tell, Eddie in the film is just trying to do his best to succeed, but not doing it the right way. Framing Spider-Man seems like an obvious ploy to get in good graces with JJ, and a good way to get your ass whooped by Parker.

Am I the only one who believes that Brock / Peter / Gwen stacey are all involved in a love triangle and that's why Brock hates Peter. He wants Gwen, but gwen wants Peter.

I guess I saw Win a Date with tad Hamilton and thought about that theory with Kate Bosworth as Gwen Stacey. Topher was jealous and pissed. Now imagine what symbiote would do to him.
