Why I hate Marvel:

-The state of the Avengers titles. These are the big mother****ing leagues and they come out here like it's amateur hour. Also, the fact that the same writer is writing both titles is shockingly stupid IMO. Maybe not from a sales standpoint but from a creative one. You have two titles, you should get some diversity out of it. Having the same dude write both, it shows in the quality of the titles.

*Note: Avengers:The Initiative isn't included in this rant.

-Spider-Man. Never cared for him, and Marvel hasn't made me care for him with any of their moves.

-The X-Men titles don't need to be shaken up every 3 months. Seriously, calm down.

My only problems with Marvel is that the Sentry sucks and Quesada is a madman when it comes to Spider-Man. The Avengers could be better also.

The wider Marvel status quo has been more or less the same since Civil War ended, so we're approaching two years on that (by the time SI introduces the new status quo late this year).

Bendis' Avengers are middling, but let's not go back to Busiek's utterly rote stuff.

I agree that the events seriously need to stop soon, after secret invasion, seriously leave everything alone for at least 3 years. All this status quo changing is hurting my head and its annoying. Besides after a humongous event like SI, what kind of event could possibly top this next year? Galactus returning for the 5th time??

The endless "Triune Understanding", a bunch of stories dedicated to Busiek satisfying his own continuity niggles about decades-old stories I couldn't care less about, and awful, awful dialogue where everyone talks like they've got a permanent stick up their ass. There's some good stuff there (I really liked the "Kang Dynasty" mega-arc), of course.
