Justice League Ezra Miller Is The Flash - Part 2

I'm happy that Ezra is getting a lot of positive feedback.

I, myself, was slightly worried about his casting at first. I didn't
know how well he'd with the Flash, but it looks like he really brought
the character to life in a fun and amazing way. I can def see him being a favorite.

I guess Ezra and Gal do look like brother and sister from some angles:

Would mind if Barry actually had that haircut for his film. Even lie and say he dyes his hair black.....

No seriously I wouldn't mind short hair.

He does have short hair but not as short as this. Apparently the cut he has now is for Fantastic Beasts

In Grace's review, she said he runs really weird. Is there any truth to this, or is it just Grace being... Grace?

Well he runs full tilt so he's bent forwards, though I'm not sure what Grace means by "weird"

She said something about kicking his legs out at weird angles so it looks like he doesn't know how to run.

I think that's nitpicking on Grace's part. The Flash doesn't need good stance to run fast, he has the speedforce! :woot:

I thought he was great. Clearly the 'baby' of the group at the moment, but he'll be an awesome Flash in his solo movie.

There was a scene I thought he looked funny. Probably because he was fake running/running in place while filming. Looked like speed skating but with rubber arms.

The bigger truth: everyone looks kind of dumb when they run, unless you're an athlete or Tom Cruise

My friend made the comment at one point that he thought he was running weird. So I guess it wasn't just her.

He definitely runs weird. It's only in two scenes, where they slow-mo the whole process and highlight his form.

He was very....flowy.

I think a Flash solo movie would be great, I really hope the positive feedback is enough to get one.

He did run weird.
I assume that they did that because he’s still learning.
Barry wasn’t an athletic before getting his powers.
Like most people, he probably just didn’t run very often. He’s not an athlete.
He’s this awkward clumsy guy that suddenly has powers based around running.:funny:
I’m sure he’ll be less clumsy and have better form eventually.

indeed! granted he feels more Wally West than Barry Allen-- specially they brought in Cyborg fer cryin out loud. but yeah whatever I WANT AN EZRA MILLER FLASH MOVIE.

and no i dont care if it conflicts from his other significant role in Fantastic Beasts. he can handle two major franchises at once he's a superhero like that :woot:

He seems generally new to his superbowers and very clumsy so his way of running fits that imo.

I only saw the aspect of it that looked weird at the end, when the world was at peace again. I assumed he ran funny because he was just having fun, not really running anywhere specific at the time.

hahah! ok I get it now based on the visuals. though I do agree with the others, he's not meant to be an athlete because in the film he's just a geeky guy who happens to run fast. his speed is not dependent on form or stance, so that's why I think it doesn't really matter. maybe for aesthetics it would but for practicality, no

I kind of imagine it as like a guy with his out of control dog, being led by the leash. you think it could work like that with the Flash? Like it's the speedforce steering his movement and his legs basically just need to move to avoid being dragged across the ground?

I think the exaggerated running is very reminiscent of anime. Wasn’t bothered by it probably because I’ve watched a lot of anime.

I second that! :drl: hopefully we get director news soon. Even with the mixed JL reviews, I can see many people still say the Flash is one of the best parts of the movie. So I don't believe Flashpoint will be dependent on how well JL ultimately performs. If we don't get JL2, I know we'll still get to see most/all of the league together in Flashpoint!

WB will make it happen!

Speaking of haircuts...

Boy was that scene where he’s talking abut brunch and obvious reshoot.

Oh that's right! Ezra's Flash is supposed to be a big K-pop and anime fan. You've made a good point. I loved how the K-pop music began playing the moment he came in. Bruce Wayne looked so out of place sitting in the midst of all that lol!

Oh, man. So, Enchantress all over again, then? :sly:
