I feel like it was split just as much as it is for flash.
And then there were the rumors about her solo before it came out.
I think well see something similar with Flashs solo.
He just needs the right writer and director.
Honestly I know he stepped off and probably is never coming back but I still believe that Rick Famuyiwa would definitely have been a good choice. Especially after seeing a few of his movies, Rick was definitely a good choice to handle Ezra' eccentric personality and translate it into a likable and relatable character for the audience especially since he was able to do it with similar characters in the past.
Ezra was hit and miss for me. Some of of his delivery fell kind of flat (I think this was more or less the writing. Perfect example being the exchange between Batman about saving people). I also wasn't huge on how some of the shots seemed to dwell on him looking uncomfortable.
I think with better direction, the guy could be killer.
But Zod damn, they really need to work on his running style for the next film. Some of it just looked straight up goofy.
Barry's humor was decent but I feel like there should have been more depth in his personality besides just looking for a job at the CSI. Maybe interaction with Iris or a heart to heart moment with Batman, Cyborg or Wonder Woman would have really helped with that.
His running, at first was supposed to display his uncoordination and despite being the fastest man alive doesn't change his awkwardness or something of that nature. But the moment I saw the last run or the first post credit scenes, I'll admit I yelled out "That run is ugly!"
