I saw it as...
If you are here as a fan of the actors (which was me in the first 2 movies) -- then the trailer was a great view for you. You should be VERY happy.
If you are here as a fan of the UFF and not so much 616 F4 -- It was probably very intriguing to you and definitely increased your appetite for more.
If you are a fan of 616, as in decades fan, then you are probably not real happy about now, BUT....will probably still wait to see what Thing and Doom really look like before writing it totally off.
I'm not sure we have any "regulars" to this forum that are TOTALLY OFF of this movie....they can't because they love this comic too much and they can't let go of the fact that just maybe they will get at least a glimpse of what they loved throughout their childhood.
I am a fan of all the actors, Teller was the last one I was a fan for and he won me over with Whiplash.
I've read the UFF (not a huge fan of that, but I read it) and I'm a long time fan of the 616FF.
I've totally written this thing off, I guess I'm not really a regular, but it can break a billion or it could pull a John Carter and I seriously don't care either way.
Now as I've said, for those looking forward to it, that's great for them. I'm sure I like stuff they hate, different strokes and all that, but I just have zero interest in it. It's just not a movie I care to see.
Its totally possible to simply have no interest in a movie, I'm sure there are many movies anyone can say they passed on because they didn't want to see them, even if their friends/family/whoever liked it or even got good reviews. All things don't attract all people.
The only superhero related thing from Fox that I'm interested in this year is the DoFP Rogue cut, I'm preordering that badboy, but F4F is getting a pass from me.
