Who the hell wouldn't want to see a comic accurate Doom? Once we get there, then we can talk about a crossover.

Doom is arguably Marvel's greatest villain. My God, he could possibly be one of the greatest comic book villains ever on screen. Yet they for some reason don't want to show us that Doom.

Raimi honestly nailed the essence of the character, whether you liked the dreary whiny portions or not. Peter got whiny in the books.

I got nothing but love for SM1 and SM2. But SM3 is the result of what happens when studio execs interferes with an artist vision. It just wasn't Raimi's film to me. Too many people with paintbrushes on one canvas.

I agree with ya man. Show us Doom in all his evil glory first. The villain that inspired Darth Vader for crying out loud. I have my doubts we will see his greatest potential in this film.

Who the hell wouldn't want to see Doom face off with Downey's Iron Man/Stark? I have dreamed of that moment.

For me it's an adaptation of "Dr Strange and Dr Doom: Triumph and Torment."

Amen, my frozen friend. Imagine the Torch popping up in a Spidey movie, or the inevitable Thing vs Hulk throwdown. Or Doom or Galactus being the big bad of an entire phase of MS films. Sweet Christmas!

All of those have to happen and it might be years or decades before they do but I'm confident F4 will go to Marvel one day. Of course if this film somehow blows expectations away I may have to reconsider that.

Iceman can take on/team up with Torch too before joining him in a Spidey-film cameo. And for some reason I'd love to see IW appear somewhere else outside of an F4 film. I'd want Reed to be seen by the likes of Stark, Banner, Lang as the no.1 ranked scientific genius in their world even though they argue/banter the point.

Am I the only one who thought: "You want a more serious, more adult version of the Fantastic Four and 'Fant4astic' is the best logo you can come up with? Really?!"

Not only is someone earning a living coming up with things like 'Fant4stic', but somewhere, a bunch of high-paid people got around a table, looked at all the various options and decided "That's the one!"

Did anyone notice in the Josh Trank / Simon Kinberg interview that Kinberg used wording about crossing over properties (presumably FF / X-Men) but it almost sounded like he might be talking about FF, X-Men and MCU?

I've got to go back and find it and see if I was just imagining it.

You keep going back to watch the trailer and you'll upset the balance of views to likes/dislikes.

I guess they did it to try to disassociate this from the Story films, but yeah, it is out of place with the movie they're selling.

Well, if you're going to mock it, it should be accurately.

Fant4stic looks like the name for a movie with a Linkin Park soundtrack where the characters wear Matrix outfits with hoodies and are misunderstood. Well, either that or a Fast & Furious crossover. No variation of "Fantastic Four" would really fit this, though. Man of Steel got around that by not calling itself Superman, but even if Fox could do that (and it's entirely possible that the deal with Marvel doesn't let them), FF just doesn't have enough general audience exposure to pull it off.
