We're expecting it to be one of the main story areas with the other main story area probably being the 'Baxter Institute'.

So do you think most of the movie will be based in the negative zone?

FINALLY, someone gets it...

Thank you so much for a post ACTUALLY ABOUT THE MOVIE AND NOT ANOTHER POSTER....it is very refreshing, thank you again.

And to answer your question....

If it runs the way of the UFF origin, they are separated in different places on earth. But it does seem, at least by the teaser, that there are definite scenes shot there....

From the call sheets during the filming the two main filming locations seemed to be the Celtic Studios where they probably did the green screen work, so thats probably the Negative Zone filming. The other main filming location seemed to be the Louisiana State University Health which could be where they did the interior filming for the 'Baxter Institute' labs etc.

Again, my anticipation level was lowered with talk of just one big action set piece. I may or may not bother getting hyped for the sequel depending on the final quality of this film. That's why I'm only on these boards once or twice a day now. Daredevil and Age of Ultron look awesome but I feel like I'm a bit too spoiled by both already.

Ant-Man looks even less faithful to the source material so I'm not much excited for that one either. I'll still wait for reviews on both Ant-Man and FF but my reaction to this right now is just a giant, "meh."

Where did you get this information?

From the looks of the trailer... the action or set piece isn't just gonna be in the climax. Something will happen during their 1st trip to whatever they wanted to go... there's a shot where it looks like Invisible Woman/Human Torch are training, then a hallway shot which features Doom. I don't think thats all part of a 1 long scene.

Haven't a clue. My understanding is, at a minimum, the Negative Zone is going to give them powers (which is apparently what gives them powers in the Ultimate universe). It's a good streamlining of things, as much as I prefer the original. I hope they have the guts to follow through with it and make the Negative Zone a major factor in the story. I would be really impressed if the villain of the movie is Annihilus rather than Doom. I'm only familiar with Annihilus through the Infinity crossover, but he was suitably creepy. Maybe they'll set him up for a sequel, I don't know.

I don't think the majority of the movie will take place there (some scenes might), but it's possible it'll affect the things in their universe anyway.

Agreed 100%

It is part of that scene. That IW/HT scene is after doom lays waste to the army guys. Anyone expecting massive action scenes will be sorely disappointed. This is like rise if the planet of the apes which also had only 1 action set piece...the climax.

To be fair, transformers movies have lot of action but they suck balls. Many movies with lot of action have sucked.

Tbh I am meh to everything except aou this year. I know that movie will be awesome so it's no fun discussing it. Antman ain't my cup of tea.

Two questions I hope from the next trailers-

How do you get out of the Negative Zone? And what is the justification for Doom's mask if he's not wearing armor?

I originally thought the white suit/Doom team jumped second but that may be the first time we see the Negative Zone. Doom's face gets messed up during that attempt and he's wearing a mask for most of the movie. Then he is recruited by the Baxter Institute with Reed to find a safer way and that's why he sabotages Reed's attempt.

"The be ready for what is coming" line may be cause Doom already made it through and saw something.

I am doubtful you will get answers to either of those questions.

I think we will probably get more of what we got in the first one, possibly a longer view of some of their powers, but other than that, probably just a lengthened view of what we have already seen. MAYBE a better glimpse of Doom.

POTA had way more action in it than your giving it credit for. I think of quite a few scenes where there was a lot of tense action. If this movie is 3/4 as good as that movie man would that be exciting.

The trailer didn't even have them onscreen together except Johnny and sue and the last shot.
There's a lot of character exposition and interaction to show.

They could do that through one of the "First Look" previews before the movies....and they could do that in some individual tv spots.

There just isn't time to go too deep into anything except a one liner here and there....

Without some BTS stuff I just don't see us getting very much. Normally by now we have already gotten a couple of nice behind the scenes shorts and we just have had close to nothing.

Those tubes they climb into that science magic them to there.

It's fused to his head like the suit is. Visible in the leaked photos.

This probably won't happen but what I hope happens. Is Victor being part of the first mission and left behind. Taken captive by Annihilius who tortures him, forges the mask and while it's still hot puts it on his face. Forcing the FF to either go back to save him or he comes back pissed the **** off.

But which coworker or team member will be Annihilus BEFORE he's Annihilus?

You know, like Mole Man and Domashev.

Anihilus is not in this film. And I'm hard pressed to say that someone like him will be in future films.

The tone they're setting wouldn't fit with a good deal of their rogues gallery.

That said, we could see some form of creatures inhabiting the Negative Zone. However, it seems unlikely.

I have to wonder... with the can of worms opened from sue being adopted... whos her parents? Her real last name? Its alot of un-needed mystery and weight

Why wouldn't he? The multiverse is a very respected theory in physics by scientist. Stephen Hawking himself conceded the possibility of such a thing even though that went against one of his long held theories on blackholes. There is nothing more real and gritty than hard science. Annihilus fits into the real gritty world of this Fantastic Four because the multiverse for now is a high possibility in this one..

Actually ant-man is pretty faithful, just with a twist and in a different way.

-hank and jan were antman and wasp. But in the past

- yellow jacket is a villain

- to steal an antman, the main story arc is pretty close to accurate

- scott lang becomes antman

- and even though hank is older, and janet is likely dead, the daughter hope is based off an alt universe daughter of hank and jan. And hope is the spitting image of wasp in the movie

Its easily more accurate to comics than this seems to be

Oh it'll happen.

Co-worker Annihilus will get the same wave blast as everybody else, but he'll somehow get transported to another location, and they'll just assume he's dead, and he'll get powers too.

Just like Domashev!

Grounded! Realistic!

So Anatol Inihluchenko does not work at Baxter Building? Is that what you say?
