So do you think most of the movie will be based in the negative zone?
Again, my anticipation level was lowered with talk of just one big action set piece.

Agreed 100%Again, my anticipation level was lowered with talk of just one big action set piece. I may or may not bother getting hyped for the sequel depending on the final quality of this film. That's why I'm only on these boards once or twice a day now. Daredevil and Age of Ultron look awesome but I feel like I'm a bit too spoiled by both already.
Ant-Man looks even less faithful to the source material so I'm not much excited for that one either. I'll still wait for reviews on both Ant-Man and FF but my reaction to this right now is just a giant, "meh."
Where did you get this information?
From the looks of the trailer... the action or set piece isn't just gonna be in the climax. Something will happen during their 1st trip to whatever they wanted to go... there's a shot where it looks like Invisible Woman/Human Torch are training, then a hallway shot which features Doom. I don't think thats all part of a 1 long scene.

Two questions I hope from the next trailers-
How do you get out of the Negative Zone? And what is the justification for Doom's mask if he's not wearing armor?
I originally thought the white suit/Doom team jumped second but that may be the first time we see the Negative Zone. Doom's face gets messed up during that attempt and he's wearing a mask for most of the movie. Then he is recruited by the Baxter Institute with Reed to find a safer way and that's why he sabotages Reed's attempt.
"The be ready for what is coming" line may be cause Doom already made it through and saw something.
It is part of that scene. That IW/HT scene is after doom lays waste to the army guys. Anyone expecting massive action scenes will be sorely disappointed. This is like rise if the planet of the apes which also had only 1 action set piece...the climax.
I am doubtful you will get answers to either of those questions.
I think we will probably get more of what we got in the first one, possibly a longer view of some of their powers, but other than that, probably just a lengthened view of what we have already seen. MAYBE a better glimpse of Doom.
The trailer didn't even have them onscreen together except Johnny and sue and the last shot.
There's a lot of character exposition and interaction to show.

This probably won't happen but what I hope happens. Is Victor being part of the first mission and left behind. Taken captive by Annihilius who tortures him, forges the mask and while it's still hot puts it on his face. Forcing the FF to either go back to save him or he comes back pissed the **** off.
But which coworker or team member will be Annihilus BEFORE he's Annihilus?
You know, like Mole Man and Domashev.
Anihilus is not in this film. And I'm hard pressed to say that someone like him will be in future films.
The tone they're setting wouldn't fit with a good deal of their rogues gallery.
