You're presenting your opinion as facte. Step away from the keyboard and reevaluate yourself.

Is that like the old English version of "fact"?

Why? Because I didn't say "in my opinion"?

Grow up.

It's not a scientific formula that setting a late embargo automatically equals a bad movie. It's meant to explain the executives' thought process and reasoning in doing so, that being that they don't have confidence in the quality of the movie themselves. Out of curiosity, why else do you think they'd hold off so long for this movie and not other releases? i could understand disregarding it if Fox just embargoed all their movies across the board for the day preceding release, but such is not the case here.

You're doing the same thing that article does, which is to treat it as a given truth that a late embargo automatically signals a lack of confidence in a film on the part of the studio releasing said film and automatically signals that the quality of said film is poor without actually providing any empirical evidence as to why or how this conclusion was drawn.

How is this defending the movie?

"Embargoing reviews until the night of the premiere doesn't look good for the movie"

"Fox is probably embargoing because critics are giving bad reviews because the bad buzz has made them biased"

"That's ********. Prove it"

"I don't have to prove it, it's my opinion"

:whatever:

Because all the overwhelmingly negative media attention this film has been getting will have no impact on critics?

Come on now.
A lot of the media and nerd attention directed towards DC Films has been negative and did make WB hide BvS and SS away? No they did not. They showed up at Comic Con last year and they killed it this year with two great trailers. They are not hiding the films. From the start Fox has hidden the FF film and that secrecy continues to this very day, two weeks before the film is to be released. It shows a complete lack of confidence from the studio. If they aren't confident then why should I be?

Becauee I didn't say "in my opinion"?

Grow up.

Falling back on "it's my opinion" when touting something you have nothing to support it with. Look at yourself in the mirror before you tell other people to grow up.

Well. I enjoyed Hansel and Gretel. But then again, I am a bit biased:

No seriously, I think The Guard is a pretty smart guy but I'm baffled by what he is saying right now.

Leading off a post by calling out someones typos is even lamer.

You were unaware that people don't have to prove opinions about a particular subject?
No, that your "opinion", which you suggested was based on experience or history, has no such basis. You simply just "believe".
