So you've resorted to conspiracy theories in order to defend this movie? Seriously?![]()
How is this defending the movie?

Nor will I.
I don't need to prove an opinion or a thought about something.
You're presenting your opinion as facte. Step away from the keyboard and reevaluate yourself.
It's not a scientific formula that setting a late embargo automatically equals a bad movie. It's meant to explain the executives' thought process and reasoning in doing so, that being that they don't have confidence in the quality of the movie themselves. Out of curiosity, why else do you think they'd hold off so long for this movie and not other releases? i could understand disregarding it if Fox just embargoed all their movies across the board for the day preceding release, but such is not the case here.
How is this defending the movie?

A lot of the media and nerd attention directed towards DC Films has been negative and did make WB hide BvS and SS away? No they did not. They showed up at Comic Con last year and they killed it this year with two great trailers. They are not hiding the films. From the start Fox has hidden the FF film and that secrecy continues to this very day, two weeks before the film is to be released. It shows a complete lack of confidence from the studio. If they aren't confident then why should I be?Because all the overwhelmingly negative media attention this film has been getting will have no impact on critics?
Come on now.
Nor will I.
I don't need to prove an opinion or a thought about something.

Becauee I didn't say "in my opinion"?
Grow up.

Independent thought?
This is beautiful. Thanks for confirming everything we thought.
Well. I enjoyed Hansel and Gretel. But then again, I am a bit biased:Here is a list of the last twenty films that had an embargo this late/were not screened at all for critics:

What the heck is Bucky Larson?
One of those crappy Happy Madison movies.
Falling back on "it's my opinion" when touting something you have nothing to support it with. Look at yourself in the mirror before you tell other people to grow up.
No, that your "opinion", which you suggested was based on experience or history, has no such basis. You simply just "believe".You were unaware that people don't have to prove opinions about a particular subject?
