Fast & Furious 7 - Part 1

We're all in this together fellas. It brings out the humanity in us and that is the beauty and gift Paul left behind.

Just saw a commercial for Fast 6 saying that part of the profits from Fast 6 blu ray/DVD sales will go to one of Paul's charities, which is another reason to go out and buy it next Tuesday!

On my next pay I will be donating to his foundation as well as buying the film on DVD.

Also reposting this from the last page for those who missed it:
Very touching tribute video posted on the official Fast & Furious Facebook page as well as Paul's FB page. Beautifully done Universal!

I like the tribute video, but I would've gone with a different song. I mean, I know it's not a huge deal, I'm just saying. Maybe something without lyrics.

im not that big on the song either, but it kinda fits with the thematics of the film franchise and their soundtracks

Not a fan of that song, but it fits the tone of the movie.

The cast is like a family, and they are even very accepting of newbies that come in and staying for a few movies.

I honestly got a little misty-eyed watching that.

Just read the coroners report. The crash didn't kill him but the fire. I don't see how anyone can watch Han's death scene and not think of the accident.

My thoughts exactly

It's just morbid to think that the guy burned to death after crashing violently into a pole.

I'll never look at Han's death the same way again either

It's good to know though that he died seconds after. So his brain probably did not have time to process the pain.

That has to be the worst way to pass. I had hoped that they both died on impact.

Why were they going so fast?? I just don't understand. The driver was a professional racer. Those guys know the incredibly well-defined line between street and track.

Hopefully, they'll kill off Brian and have Han survive the explosion. I can't see them killing off two major characters in the same film.

I cannot picture the same aswell.

When is Fast 7 supposed to hit theatres, isn't it post-poned now? :csad:

I wonder how much was filmed that we'll never see?

Are they re-working EVERYTHING with Kurt Russell and Jason Statham?

We don't know if the film is going to restart from scratch.

Considering Universal is talking about starting from scratch and that they are insured and will lose zero money starting from scratch I see them doing just that. Starting from scratch.

Do they start from scratch with the new people added to the cast from when they started? Like Statham, Jaa, Rousey, Hounsou and Russell?

I doubt it.

1 They'd piss off fans. 2 They know how much more money they can make having Paul Walker's final film role (incomplete as it is). They're a movie studio after all.

I'd rather have an untouched version of the film as much as possible. For god's sake, they continuously use CGI for the smallest things that can be done practically, why can't they do CGI trickery? The technology is there, the only thing is Universal going to invest in it? That's the big question.

PS: Any of you read that story that's being passed around on social networks of how to do the Fast 7 ending to honor Paul?

Yes but they also have to release a product that is complete. According to CNN filming was behind schedule and only 50% of shooting was complete, the film may not be salvageable no matter how much editing and CGI stuff they add. At the end of the day all they'll end up doing is ruining the franchise completely all in the name of getting Walker in there somehow. If the easiest solution is to write it off and start again they will do so.
