that scene look like its straight out of my childhood dreams.

Fast 6 wasn't as good as 5, but seeing 6 might have been the best theatrical experience I've ever had. Never seen a crowd be so vocal and clearly into a movie before.
And this is why I go early morning screenings of most films.

It was early, haha. Like 10:30 am. It wasn't bad. Just laughter and cheers. Nothing rowdy. It was actually fun!
Laughing is great. I do like some cheering. I hate really vocal crowds though. Ones that act like they are in their living room.

Oh yeah, me too. When I saw 22 Jump Street, these people behind me reiterated everything that happened on screen. It was horrible.

That's definitely part of the fun. I have friends who don't like superhero movies , but will treat this like it's the next Marvel studios film.

Oh God I hate that, and it makes no sense. You are watching the movie right now!!!!

I was once in a theater where a man was clearly hard of hearing, so his female companion was helping him out with some of the dialogue. It was annoying, but I got it and didn't complain. But you have these idiots retelling what they just saw between them. WTH!?

There's reacting and outright conversations. I can handle people reacting to the movie , but cell phones and sidebar conversation really piss me off.

You nailed it. Well put.

I think they wanted to have that in there in case certain people didn't come back. There were rumors that Paul Walker didn't want to do anymore
I'd heard that as well. I don't know if he wanted to flat-out leave acting or just take a break, but I read where he wanted more family time and to do stuff with marine biology. And I guess he wasn't *gonna* come back for 7, because Lin wasn't directing, but then got talked into it.

A huge shame he didn't get to do that

yes.
one of my favorite parts of seeing these movies is seeing them with a crowd as excited about it as i am. you can feel the energy in the air and the reactions are great
i don't think i've ever seen a movie with a crowd that had so much energy and excitement as the midnight premieres of Fast 5 and 6

Yeah... this is losing me. The whole thing looks like Diesel's Superman catch from 6 x1,000,000.

The Expendables tries it's hardest to achieve this and falls short. Then the sequels completely missed the mark.

Blame Warner Bros and Universal for turning it down forcing Sly to go with Millenium Films. Besides, the third one tried to go the F&F route and it was easily the worst.

Tyrese is banging the drum for Matt Damon to come aboard for Fast 8 *if* they do it. I could dig it.

Just saw the Superbowl trailer.

I had to double-check that James Wan was still directing it, because it still looked like something Justin Lin would've done. :p That building-to-building jump was the best thing I've ever seen in an F&F movie yet! I'll be there in line on opening day!

The trailers for these movies are events on their own, because you're just waiting to see what crazy **** they pull next. I remember laughing when they showed the tank in the Fast 6 trailer. The building jump is that moment for the new one.

I remember in Fast Five when they showed how they got away with the money at the end, this old black lady next to me stood up and started applauding. It was actually pretty friggin awesome.

It is so great, I stood and applauded in my living room when I saw it for the 5th time a few months back. :funny:

That building jump (a variation on something I pretended to many times as a kid) guaranteed a day one viewing from me.

The stunt in these films just get more ridiculous and fun each time.

Hobbs gets a new job with the CIA and is tracked with hunting down Jason Bourne so he recruits Dom and the gang. BOOM!

Take me money!

They better stick with the 'Furious 7' title... leave Fast out of it.

The fighting looks awesome, so excited.

Also, RACE WARS.

Give me this film right now, man. Heck, give me the Blu-ray too.
