I haven't seen any of these since I went to see 2F2F in theatres. I clearly need to fix this.
Yes, you do.
I can't wait to see 7.

Saw the TV spot last night.
Why is it that explosions in movies all look so fake now? Have studios really forgotten how to blow sh** up?
A lot of filmmakers have stopped blowing **** up for real. It's a shame, because real explosions will always look better. Just look at the new Mad Max trailer.

IMO because of the MPAA. i fear that the MPAA forced hollywood studios to make all explossions and fire look fake. why? because the MPAA thinks that if it looks fake it doesnt look dangerous to the young kids. IMOSaw the TV spot last night.

30-40 % of fire in the new mad max trailer is CGI. confirmed by people who worked on effects. they can make everything look real. if the studio and directors asks them to do it. i am not talking about the tornado scenes. it is true that Mad Max Fury Road will have an insane amount of practical effects. more than a Bay movie IMO.A lot of filmmakers have stopped blowing **** up for real. When Lucas Black signed on to return for Fast 7, which was before Walker's death, his contract included that he would have a big role in a theoretical 8 and 9. I would like to know if this was meant from the start to possibly be the final film for the Toretto/O'Connor crew. When Dom said that this was one last ride,Was that filmed after Walker passed away or was this movie always meant to be the last?
Honestly, we watch these films solely for the characters. We love them, for better or for worse.
I just hope this is more Fast Five and less Fast 6.
Off topic question.
But who are these ppl of the MPAA?
What gives them the power to give out ratings etc? They better not be a bunch of old folks. Lawd.

And yet, that all works for me. The Rock is one charming SOB. He makes me want to shout at the screen, "IT'S STILL REAL TO ME GODDAMNIT!!!!!"I wouldnt count on it. The Rock's character has become a full fledged cartoon character. "Daddy's got to go to work." *breaks cast* *shoots up an entire city street with an M61 Vulcan*

Completely agree. I don't quite know how he does it, but the Rock makes me accept the ridiculousness.Yeah The Rock was the exception in Fast 6.... As with any movie he's in.
