Tyrese at the crash site.

Ouch that's hard to see :( I always got the feeling that Paul and Tyrese were especially close.

I agree, put your damn phones away for one second while the man grieves.

I hate that picture. It's one thing to stand around watching a guy grieving for his friend instead of giving him a moment of privacy, but it's a whole other level of gross to stand there and film it.

Especially when you see the giant ass cameras next to him and the extra paraphernalia above him.

If they were to use what they have already written, they could have Paul Walker's character run off with Mia and their new born child. Mia got kidnapped in Fast 6, and since Jason Statham is out for revenge, they can have a scene explaining that Brian can't risk that happening again, so he ran off with his family.

I think that's the best thing to do. Maybe have one scene where Toretto is talking to Brian on the phone and Brian says that he'll have to sit this battle out because of his family. It seems like Statham's character is more concerned with Toretto anyway so this could be more his show.

After all the effort they put in these movies about making Brian and Dom "brothers" no matter the obstacle, that would severely be out of character for him. He's been the backbone of the entire series and I'd hope his character gets a better send off than that.

I think it would be in bad taste to kill off Walker's character in a car crash, not just in bad taste, absolutely disgusting.

If they had originally planned to kill off in this movie and actually in that fashion, I wouldn't mind it. Sure it would be hard to watch.

Yeah, you're right, but I think it's one of the safer possibilities. They are going to have to bend the story just a little.

I agree. It is disrespectful for the Walker family unless they are fine with it. Either way, I think the writers should collaborate with the Walker family, if possible. I really don't know how they will handle the movie now.

While the tragedy of Paul Walker's sudden death in a car accident is still being felt, the show must go on - that includes the production of the seventh "Fast and Furious" film at Universal Pictures.

Shooting had been underway in Atlanta but was on hiatus for the Thanksgiving holiday and was scheduled to start again today (Sunday). That plan is now on hold until tomorrow or Tuesday at the earliest as the death has left the cast and crew devastated.

Director James Wan and Universal executives reportedly held a conference call Sunday morning where discussion was made about necessary rewrites and how to proceed in a manner respectful to Walker's death.

While much of the film had already been shot, Walker and the cast were scheduled to travel to Abu Dhabi in January to film additional scenes.

The production had been rushing to meet next year's July 11th release date, so any delay could well impact that date. For now though, Universal is not commenting on their plans for the film.

Walker had two other completed films on the way - the Hurricane Katrina drama "Hours" opening this month, and the "District B13" remake "Brick Mansions" which is currently in post-production.

Don't kill his character off say Brian and Mia wanted life away from all this for their family so they went off the grid changed names etc.

So they just write out Brewster's character? Seem ridiculous imo.

People forget that Oliver Reed died during the production of Gladiator, they rewrote the character's fate from surviving to dying. It was an extremely classy, tasteful and poignant moment in the film.

Gonna suck to be Statham or whomever has to kill off O'Connor.

Those gawkers in the Tyrese photo make me sick. A couple of months back, a lady had a heart attack outside of where I work and all these ****ing idiots crowded around like it was a free show. Disgusting.

I guess they can super impose his face on a body double, it's been done before. I guess it also depends on what scenes were left for him to do???

In the RIP Celebrity Edition thread it was debunked as fake.

Why fake something like that? People are idiots...

I think they will kill off the character in a gunfight, not a car crash as that would be too insensitive.

Think of how Gordon "died" in TDK and the following scene was just a visual of the cops telling his wife with no real dialog. I think it will play out like that.

the media makes me sick

Tyrese is there paying his respects & mourning the loss of his friend, yet they are hounding him
