i am kinda curious as to which scenes were his brothers but at the same time i really don't want to know cuz i don't want to think of that every time i watch the movie like 'oh that's not him" "is that him?"

i know it sounds odd. i want to know, but i don't want to know
[BLACKOUT]i heard he died after the "grabbing onto the spoiler for dear life" scene off the cliff. so that would mean all the scenes with him after that is not him anymore.[/BLACKOUT]

I'm curious to see whether Avengers 2 can reach one billion dollars as quickly. That'd be something if Avengers 2 was slower to the mark.

Overall I think AOU stateside numbers are going to put it over Furious 7.

I don't doubt that AOU will outgross Furious 7. I just wonder if it can hit one billion in 16 days. Furious Seven set the bar pretty high at 17 days. Tho AOU has 3D ticket sales on its side so that could give it the leg up.

They do tend to film scenes out of order all the time, so that's not all necessarily true. There was a major scene of him making the call to Mia and gearing up for the final battle that was him because one of the first shots tweeted of the film being shot was of Vin and Paul together from the last section of the movie.

Obviously he hadn't finished his work in the last action piece because his fight with Tony Jaa was covered in darkness and shot to avoid his face, and his screaming "Too slow" to him was CG Paul.

Early last year Wan said that Paul had filmed about 85% of his scenes. Paul died right before the production was scheduled to go to the UAE for location shooting.

i'm just saying what i heard. i know it could be false.

1 bil in 17 days is ABSOLUTELY stunning.

im guessing 1,3 bil is now a COMPLETE lock.

1,35-1,45 should be the total gross WW.

no way Star Wars ep7 will beat that , so im thinking Furius 7 will be the n2 movie ww for 2015 after A:AOU.

I honestly don't see any chance that Star Wars will bring in less money at the box office than Furious 7, but it really doesn't matter. Furious 7 is making sweet money and I'm happy they could tribute to the movie to Paul and give him a worthy send-off.

Paul had filmed 85% of his material. Confirmed by the cast. The last scene he filmed was the scene posted above with Vin and the gang next to the parking lot.

For a previous poster, i can confirm after seeing it again last night, Tony Jaa is in three scenes, not two as i originally posted.

For the parts that are CGI Paul read below.
-he puts his son in the minivan (explosion)
-Abu dhabi arrival
-walking down steps in suit with crew (Abu dhabi)
-missed bullets reply in building after car jump
-crew overlooking LA (very obvious)
-too slow reply to Tony Jaa
-antena scene where he gets signal back for the hacking (obvious again)
-beach/driving scene

Can AOU get to a billion In 16 days? I don't know, I think it depends on if it can keep up with Furious 7 in China. And it depends on when AOU is released in China. I'll have to investigate.

Not trying to belittle how great the Furious movies are but I think Episode VII will be huge and I can't see it making that much less than Furious 7.

The fact that you have older Star Wars fans coming to enjoy the revival of the franchise and new ones, along with kids that will probably enjoy it and the worldwide appeal of Star Wars (unlike Star Trek) it will certainly be up there.

Now it's time to just crossover the franchises for the ultimate team-up film. Star Fast - Kessel Run Wars

I still haven't seen 2 Fast 2 Furious and Tokyo Drift. Should I bother? I feel like I should do a marathon of all the films in their chronological order (1,2,4,5,6,3,7) after Furious 7 gets on iTunes or Netflix.

Another thing; if they were breaking out the Weta-works anyway, how come they couldn't CGI the "old man" out of Sean Boswell's face in Furious 7? Him looking like he was 40 after a cut-scene of him in Tokyo Drift from a decade ago, was far more jarring than any possible Paul Walker CGI.

It 100% depends on how fast and wide the roll out is, if it's in all the big territories inside of 15days then it's a wrap, if takes months to do so then not so much.

2 Fast introduces Roman and Tej. It's cheesy as hell but I liked it for what it was. Drift is a standard fish out of water story. If you like Han, it'll be enjoyable just for his scenes.

Why do people always wanna skip some of the movies? (Not just on the Hype, but I see it everywhere.) Gaaaahhhh. It drives me insane. It'll make 5-7 100x more enjoyable if you know the characters and references/inside jokes.

Agreed 100%!

Calm down, Randall. It was just a question.

You're dreaming if you think SW won't out gross FF7.

Yeah star wars or AOU is probably going to be the top grossing film of the year. With this being in third.

@giteshpandya: #Furious7 #1 again w/ $29M wknd, $294.4M dom & huge $1.15B global. China soars to $250M & will surpass US gross.

#RideorDie

The interesting thing about this year is that it's not going to take us until August/September to get a 300 million dollar grossing film and we have a billion dollar grosser already. American Sniper had a limited release in 2014 so despite it making 99% of it's money in 2015, it is a 2014 film. That means Furious 7 is going to be the first 2015 film to hit that number.
