Gal Gadot IS Wonder Woman! - - - - - - - - - Part 29

I find it hard to see this and think people didn't see her as WW, I know there were some who had an issue with her breast but I don't want to do a Ghostbusters and label all her detractors as having that as an issue. I'm not talking about the ones who had issues with her acting skills but those who had physical issues with her.

Yeah, given the reaction I have no doubt Gal is gonna be a regular winner at a bunch of fan voted awards shows before it's all said and done.

Is that a scene from the film? I don't remember them looking up like that. What were they looking at? Amazons?

Me thinks this scene is right after Queen Hippolyta arrives on her horse flanked by other high ranking Amazons and she screams ''Get away from her''.

Great interview by Patty Jenkins. Here's something she said about Gal which is definitely true:

To me, the two things that Gal Gadot, who is an amazing actress and she played a great Wonder Woman, but the true things that she actually has inside of her are this incredible warmth and charm that is also informed by great intelligence. It's those two things. When she smiles in real life, it's infectious and so powerful because it's so completely pure and unfettered. She's not holding anything back. It's just this incredible big smile, but also there's this little spark and edge of how much she knows and has seen and understands in the world.

That is a magical combination for Diana, to have that superhero who can ... in her storyline, she can be naïve to something and she can be a sage about other things, and she can be a bad-ass, but she's always informed by this incredible warmth and charm and deep, deep, deep intelligence.

That photographer knows his audience.

Let's not forget about Wonder Woman's nicely shaved armpits. For some reason some people took issue with that.

Don't they know Amazon armpit hair spontaneously incinerates on oxidisation?

Gal looks absolutely gorgeous in that blue dress. :ilv:

But was she supposed to be wearing her WW armour under that? How did it fit? It doesn't look like it could go under there. Her neckline is too low. And what about her boots/ greaves? That doesn't look like it was under there and wouldn't match with the dress. And where were her bracelets? But then her dress just seemed to fly away later.

Here is where she could really have done with a WW spin.

Boots are there.

Just accept that her armor is worn under everything!! Even if you don't see it, it's there. I think that is part of its special power, in that can conceal itself to suit Diana's needs.

I'm actually more concerned about Steve's German hat, as it does the same thing apparently...:cwink:

And what sweet pictures! Truly a lovely woman.

The same people who took issue with Superman having a bit of chest hair sticking out of his suit, or Ares with a mustache. It's puzzling sometimes what certain fans get hung up on.
