Apocalypse Gambit in the Apocalypse Movie

Indeed If they want to do a solo they will want him to shine the same way quicksilver did to get the audience wanting to see more of him

But that was really two scenes and not a lot of screen time.

Would you rather Gambit be in the Apocalypse movie, but only have a small role, like Quicksilver? maybe 5 minutes screentime?

Or would you rather see him as a more integral part of the story, such as Ororo's friend with them meeting in Cairo, and/or him being a servant for Sinister and/or Apocalypse, with that being revealed during the climax?

Or another integral part, such as being one of the Horsemen?

I'd imagine he will get an important role in the film and more screen time then quicksilver did, let's be honest they will push hard for him to win over the audience, they will need this to ensure success with the solo

What would be pretty cool is during the mid-credits scene you see Gambit walking up to this mansion (or wherever) and he is brought to or approaches Mr. Sinister and they have a conversation about how Gambit did a good job or he simply says something like "So, Remy, what have you learned?".

Something to show that Gambit was working for Mr. Sinister during the events of the Apocalypse movie.

This could be used to set up the Gambit solo movie.

Maybe Sinister could say something like "Mr. LeBeau, you are one step closer to getting what you want. For your next mission I want you to gather a group of special individuals for me." He would then hand him a packet with the word "Marauders" on it.

Or something like that...

In this story, Gambit would need to bring together the Marauders, made up of characters like Sabertooth, Blockbuster, Prism, Scalphunter, Harpoon, Malice, Scrambler, and/or Vertigo. A team of four, in addition to Gambit, would be perfect. This would lead to the whole Mutant Massacre story where Gambit is unable to prevent the massacre, but does save Sarah.

I think the Mutant Massacre, as a storyline, would be perfect for Gambit's first solo. It shows his shady past, but also establishes him as the hero (who saves Sarah). Yes, the story would need to be changed considerably, since it would not be part of an X-Men (Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, etc.) movie, but it's very possible.

Obviously no Angel, which means no loss of his wings. No Nightcrawler, Colossus and Shadowcat being wounded. No Power Pack and no Thor. Unfortunately, no New Mutants either. And it would be tough to have Calisto and Leech since they were ruined in X3.

But what we would get is the following:

Some good Morlocks, including (possibly) Caliban, Feral, Marrow, Masque, Sunder, Tommy, etc. Masque could be the leader.

The tunnels, showing this grouping of mutants hiding from the surface.

Mr. Sinister's motivation of purging the world of his "unwanted material". It might even be possible to have Dark Beast shown, which could be used down the road in an Age of Apocalypse movie, assuming he escapes at the end of X-Men Apocalypse.

It would introduce us to Sarah, aka Marrow.

It would give us Sinister.

Hey, it's just an idea...

Actually, in many ways it might make more sense for this Gambit - Mutant Massacre story (if that's the one they go with) to come out prior to the X-Men Apocalypse movie.

I know, the idea is to introduce him in the X-Men movie so he can then be known enough to have his own solo flick, but with this story it makes more sense for it to happen prior to Apocalypse, so we could have Sinister and some of the Morlock characters, who could be used as Horsemen.

I hope Gambit looks like this :p

(Kidding.....kind of)

HAHAHAHAHA. Thanks.
I know I wouldn't mind seeing Channing as Gambit like that!

Thanks! The better version is on my DA.
It's not really showing much more, but still.

full nude or as Logan said 'go the f**** off' :funny:

Lol that can't be posted here, though!

but u can invite us to your external site, so there's no real problem. You just.... do it! :D

Lol that's what the links in my signature are for!

I went to the link under your sig then it said MATURE Content and I don't have a Deviant Art account. :(

My fb page!
Like I said though, there's not much. The kinetic flame is covering the good bits.

Lol no, I don't want to do full nude. It's better when it's a little cheeky and playful.

Wow, we've gone off topic...

So simple question, do you want to see Gambit around the same age as Jean, Ororo and Scott (even though that wouldn't make sense per the current timeline), or would you rather see him say 5-10 years older and in more of a big brother type relationship with Storm or another character. Other option would be to have him working for the bad guys 100% (meaning not in a way where we find out well into the story that he did/was doing something for Sinister or Apocalypse).

I don't want him being 100% villain and don't believe he will be at all. If rumor is him getting a spinoff, and since it's confirmed Tatum is playing him, I don't see 100% villain happening.

He's most likely gonna be same age range as Scott, Jean and Ororo; if anyone Nightcrawler is gonna be the younger one.

How did we go off topic
We were still discussing Gambit

If we are gonna see Gambit in 1983, I would rather see him as old as Jean/Scott/Storm so if they ever go back to the present with the OT actors, Gambit wouldn't look as old as Beast. But given that Channing Tatum might be playing Gambit and we know Channing Tatum is as old as Anna Paquin/Shawn Ashmore/Daniel Cudmore, I don't see him looking like a teenager in Apocalypse.

I'd rather see Gambit as a good guy in kind of the Wolverine role from the original films. The loner/rebel type. And I'd rather see Wolverine as Death so that he and Gambit can have an epic fight.

"Bang, you dead..." ~ Classic quote from the comics when Gambit beat Wolverine in the Danger Room.
