Victarion called me a damsel... hawt.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but out of everyone in Meereen it seems like Daario of all people is the only one making any sense.

Yea Daarios like 'you have dragson, stop being a ****.' It irritating that the one I hate most in Essos is the most relatable this season.

I wonder why the **** they had to give Jorah grey scale.

Because Iain is actually the cast member that wrote the letter to D&D :hehe:

Would you want your wife and child to stay at a decrepit castle with 50 men, half of whom are criminals (including rape) with winter approaching and an army of ice demons and zombies?

Or bring them south to a battle which you believe you will win and claim one of the strongest fortifications in the region?

Didn't consider this.

Damsel with a Tire Iron.

So when the old lady told Sansa that she wasn't alone and that there are people who are still loyal to Sansa in the North, she was referring to the Umbers, right? No way she was just referring to Brienne and a bunch of peasants, right?

My guess of how this plays out is that Roose is setting himself up for a red wedding of sorts. He's going to have a wedding for Sansa and Ramsay and he invites a bunch of northern lords and northerners. A bunch of northerners who think he is a crooked slimy bastard. They are going to be camped outside of winterfell. Sansa and Ramsay get married and that night they consummate their marriage in a less than pleasant way. Sansa decides shes ready to send the Boltons straight to the seven hells so she sneaks to the high tower and lights the candle. The northerners outside the wall see the candle and that's the cue to attack. They lay siege to the castle. And some try to get in and get Sansa out of harms way. I'm probably wrong, and I still don't have a clue when Stannis would arrive or how him and Brienne and the other northern lords will all converge on Winterfell, but I have a feeling that Roose is standing right in the path of a tidal wave of northern vengeance. I'm almost willing to be that Stannis, his army, and Brienne aren't the only pieces on the board in the North.

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say that the Umbers show up for Sansa's wedding next Ep, they do the whole song and dance of loyalty to Roose and the idea that they hate a Southron like Stannis. When the actual battle comes about and the two sides meet on the field the Umbers turn their cloaks and attack the Bolton forces, while that crazy battle wages on the outside, Brienne and Pod break with a handful of peasants loyal to the Starks, fill the role Mance and the Spearwives did, and with Theon's help free Sansa from Ramsay and escape.

I wonder if that old maid isn't really a Bolton agent, or if Ramsay knows about her. Since he dropped a "the North remembers," in the dinner scene.

Well if she is a Bolton agent then I hope Sansa kicks her rickety wrinkled ass down some stairs.

The blurb for episode 507 states that "Brienne waits for a sign.", which seems like a reference to the lit candle, so I'm guessing she's legit.

What's this now?

I fell the down the rabbit hole that is Patchface is the books. I have been compiling a list of the prophecies/observations he made, and needless to say, it's quite frightening how many of them came (or were true.)

Its a shame they didn't include him inthe show. :(

Melisandre's fear of Patchface is what intrigues me.

Same here.

While I understand he is not critical to the larger narrative of the books, I wish they had still included him in the show. For $30 bucks, they could have assembled a fair looking costume/makeup and hired an extra (or heck, one of the crew members,) to recite the prophecies in the background. It would not have robbed critical screentime (or focus) and would not have compromised the budget.

It's funny that way, because they were going to cut Shireen too and it was really only out of necessity to give Stephen Dillane more to do that they included her in season 3, and even then they weren't sure if they'd use her again.

Great job, D&D, for realizing that Sansa's storyline was criminally lacking in rape.

I was unaware of that. Wow

Well we all knew it was coming. A westerosi wedding night isn't complete without consummation and we all knew Ramsay wasn't going to die in this episode.

She's only got to make it through this nightmare and she will have her revenge. And she better get revenge in this season. Cause if she doesn't get her revenge after going through a wedding night with Ramsay D&D deserve to be kicked in the balls.

If there is no revenge this season, I'll probably just wait for the books that never come. And if she ends up pregnant, I swear to old Gods and the New...

Pregnancy could be in the cards. Doesn't mean she can't abort it.
