A little hint of the future: Littlefinger's love/obsession with Tully-ish women is a great and terrible thing.

I know where this is going and you've given me tonight's chills down my spine. Though those 2 do have an interesting arc.

I just remembered that Arya has yet to murder a boy with her sword. They should get to that immediately :)

True. But in the book, when Yoren dies they're actually hidden behind a wooden keep and she stabs something like a half-dozen guys with Needle as they crawl up ladders. So, she still is behind on her killing quotient. ;)

The scene was also great because she kept shouting "Winterfell!" as she was doing it so Hot Pie (the rotund boy) started shouting "HOT PIE!" as he hit people coming up the ladders. Fun scene.

P.S. Did anyone catch South Park? Cool GOT reference this week. I was amused.

Strange how I don't remember that.

She even referenced it as a threat to the fat kid who's part of her group last season too.

"I've already killed a fatboy...in if fact i love killing fatboys!"

100% Accurate

Never figured Mr. Garrison for a GOT fan. He seems more like a Borgias kind of guy to me. :(

I love it, but only nine characters? I think we can do better

Book 3 Spoiler in regards to Robb Stark
Author must have not read the Red Wedding

Ned Stark "Always going on about climate change" actually made me laugh out loud.

Okay here are a few more:

The Borgias does show an interesting side of history that has been largely overlooked in popular media. The corruption, and decadence of the Catholic Church in those days was incredible. Not to say it's much better these days, but they don't rule Europe anymore.

I do find the lack of a powerful religious order in Westeros a bit strange, given all the other Medieval Europe tropes. But Stannis is working on that.

So I'm reading the first book right now and it's ****ing awesome. Even the characters that I'm not as interested in there's interesting **** going on with them.

I really want to watch this show but I'm afraid that if I start I won't finish the book.

I love the show but since the books was my first exposure to the series I love it more so if I were you I'd go finish the book first, but it doesn't really matter so much, it's up to you. Nevertheless, it's good that you've delve into the series.
