I'm looking forward to the next Pendergast novel, "Two Graves." The blurb mentions the jungles of South America. For those who've read the series, you'll recall that the first novel, "Relic" had some plot elements tied into SA. .

It's a little too obvious to choose the Joker (nolanverse), but yes Ra's is my favorite. And it isn't easy to grow that goatee. irritating really...and when I shave it I'm going to have a f'd up tan line from all the lake time.

Sorry... that's just something the grates on my nerves, and not just because it would be an insanely stupid thing for Nolan to pull. I mean, if he was really going to include Robin or a second Batman, then why not just pull someone straight from the comics, like Dick Grayson or Jean Paul Valley? Why invent a whole new character to do it? And then, why the whole set-up of Batman being a loner who doesn't need help, who isn't meant to last forever?

Blake will not be anyone other than Blake. The sooner July 20 gets here so I can come back on this board and gloat heavily about how stupid they all are, the better.
