^^^ Yeah it's getting annoying, I don't want to wait all the way until Comic-Con to see some new footage or pictures.

I want to get it for a friend, just to piss him off.

Same here, I can't wait to see what type of over the type action they pull out with GR: Spirit of Vengeance.

It's a waste of celliod, dvd prints, blu ray prints....it's really a horrible excuse for entertainment.

Well, good for you. But if the movie was such a waste to you, why don't you go waste your time elsewhere?

How about I keep trashing it? Why do you care what I do with my time?

I have the right to trash a movie that has nothing to do with this sequel...which is what the thread is about...a sequel, reboot thing....

Yes, you have the right, just as some of us have the right to actually like the movie.

No you dont. I'm a dictator...

:slap:

Well, no duh you do...I never claimed, or said you cant enjoy it....but i'm going to massivly disagree with you, and still hate on it for the pain it caused me. :hehe:

And noone's tellin' you you can't hate it. Just wonderin' why you'd wanna spend your time harping a four year old movie you didn't like.

{and you'll have to forgive my jerkiness, I'm a bit on the tired side right now}

Simple. I'll be honest, I love to be negative on the internet. I dont know why it's fun...but it is. I love to bash a movie into little tiny pieces using colorful words, and hyperbolies...:D

I enjoy reading it as I enjoy writing it. :D

It was alright to me, it's not NEARLY as intolerable as most people make it out to be.

So basically you love trolling. Already knew that, but it's good to have you quoted as admitting it.

Also, it's 'hyperboles'. If you're going to act like you know what they are you ought to know how to spell them properly.

I love how some people get offended that others could possibly not embrace Ghost Rider as the cinematic masterpiece it truly is.

I'm with Celtic so far as I feel that these movies shouldn't be encouraged. I do wish more people shared my opinion that Ghost Rider, for all of it's potential, was as much of a steaming pile of crap as Punisher: War Zone or any of the Fantastic Four movies.

These movies are simply saved by the money wasted on making them look sort of good. As consumers we should stop settling on uninspired tripe, take a look at how good a comicbook movie can be.

Are some of you people really going to argue that Ghost Rider as a movie comes anywhere near the greatness of Iron Man, Spider-Man 2, Batman Begins and the Dark Knight?

Sure it doesn't have to be that good in order for you guys to enjoy it, but by enjoying such second rate **** you invite more second rate **** to be produced, up until the point that you're swimming in stink.

Who's saying that?

Sure, then I'll just let you decide my opinion for me:whatever:

Who's saying that?

There seems to be this attitude that this is a good comic book movie.
The movies I listed are actual good comic book movies, my opinion and that of millions of others worldwide.

Sure, then I'll just let you decide my opinion for me:whatever:

No, I can't help it that you've got low standards.
Opinions can't be wrong, but they certainly can be in the minority.
There is a reason why this film was critically panned by the majority of critics who bothered watching it.
There is a reason why 9 out of 10 people I've mentioned this movie to have agreed that this movie was laughably bad, the other 1 person was a French guy who saw the English version and just enjoyed it for it's visuals and cheese.
This is a bad movie.
Your deluded opinion and that of some other die-hard apologist fanboys won't change this one iota.

All this to say that the standard has been set and filmmakers shouldn't just settle to appeal to the lowest common denominator, and instead aspire to greatness, even when dealing with completely implausible source material.

It wasn't the fact that the character has flawing skull that made this movie bad. It was the poor script, dry performances, awful fight scenes, poor antagonist, and a piss poor onscreen romance among other things that made this a truly awful movie.

I guess you missed my post about it not being very good.

Well, I bet that makes you feel special, doesn't it?:oldrazz:

So wait, because I like one bad movie, that means I have low standards???

Your deluded opinion and that of some other die-hard apologist fanboys won't change this one iota.
:whatever:

Why do you care if someone actually likes this movie? It doesn't effect you. It doesn't effect your everyday life. If someone wants to waste money on GR, it's not your money they're wasting.

Oh I get crankier about these things when I lack sleep, but I have this notion that if everyone, absolutely everyone hated the movie as much as I did that we'd be spared another one of the same poor quality.

Cage was alright, Sam Elliot is always awesome, but it was such a second rate experience and I believe that even with a character as obscure as Ghost Rider, we can have a jaw-dropping good movie.

...I want to see footage soon. But I suspect that until Cage settles his domestic assault case, new updates will be kept quiet..

Oh wow, I just noticed Christopher Lambert is going to be in this as well?
