Gotta love Sue.. One minute she's advocating for Kurt when he's bullied, next she's throwing a man down the stairs. I also loved when she knocked out the lt. Governor :)

If only I cared. After it was spoiled that it would be performed by the boys of ND I just dont have high expectations from it.

So far for the movie soundtrack episode after V-Day, we've got:

Kurt & Blaine- Come What May (Moulin Rouge)

ND girls- Diamonds Are Forever/Diamonds (Shirley Bassey/Rihanna)

Will & Emma- You're All The World To Me (Fred Astaire)

Artie, Joe, Sam- Footloose

ND Boys- Shout (Isley Brothers)

The episode also includes Unchained Melody (most popularized by the movie Ghost), but it's not said yet who's performing it.

I'm kind of disappointed Victor Garber isn't even guest-starring in "I Do". Really? He doesn't even attend his son's wedding?

Especially since Emma's parents are there.

Glee probably forgot that Will has parents.

Cant wait to see what Shout looks/sounds like. Dont think it can top 300 though.

Tomorrow night we get Quinntana dropping in on Chez Hummelberry.

There has been some audio bits released from tomorrows episode and Kurt sounds stupid calling Rachel ****ty barbie and porn star for this role where she would have to go topless.

Yea, I don't know why the writers give characters such contrived things to fight about.

It reminds me of Season 3 where Blaine randomly got on Sam's case about being a stripper.

Seriously, there are better reasons they could give for Hummelberry to fight. They're both ambitious Type A's, it shouldn't be hard for them to get heated competing at NYADA, but the writers are lazy and give them stupid crap to fight over.

All the while conveniently letting all of the **** Finn was throwing his way slide off his back.

The writers just wave their magic wands and whip up crap to have drama, regardless of whether it's in character or has any motivation.

to be honest.. im not sure RM actually does much about the show anymore.. he seems much more concentrated on his other projects.

Glee is just sorta an easy money maker for him at this point. the writers could pretty much do whatever, and people would still watch it..

Probably but everyone on the show still goes on about how involved he is and gives away spoilers every week.

well the rumors are easy... he knows what's happening on all his shows...

but how often he's in person there.. i don't know. I don't see how he could easily split his time between Glee/NN/AHS, and his new baby though.. now AHS is over he has a lil more free time i guess... but still

He's been writing a fair number of the episodes this season himself.

Well the episodes in question just say "written by Ryan Murphy" in the opening credits, so who knows.

Luckily his shows probably shoot close together location wise. And with AHS it is probably shot during summer and bleeds into the beginning of Glees season and the New Normal doesnt take as long to shoot episode wise as Glee would so he would have enough time to jump between all three.

Though either way, he and the writers obviously dont care about Glee as much as they did in season 1. And they hired writers who dont care that much about the show and just write whatever pops into their minds.

And this just speaks volumes lol

One of these days, I'm going to rewatch my DVD set of the first 13 episodes of S1 and just weep at how far it has fallen since then.

The sad part is, it's not even that they're incapable.

Murphy is good with snappy one-liners and pop culture references, and Glee has also had some really on-target emotional moments, even on occasion this season.

They're just lazy.

"How can you sing a duet with yourself? That's like vocal *********ion."

Santana's nugget of wisdom popped instantly into my head when Season 1 Rachel started dueting with Season 4 Rachel.

Yay Santana and Quinn

Kurt was unnecessarily *****y but Rachel just keeps proving she is not mature enough to be a professional actress, despite incessantly telling everyone (especially herself) that she's a grown mighty woman. That said, the resolution of her dilemma was a little more even-handed and reasonable than I expected Glee to be.

Jake/Marley are schlocky. Actually Marley in general is schlocky. So blandly "nice" that she's almost sickeningly sweet.

Score one for Finn against Sue.

Sam and Blaine's friendship is nice and Blaine's video was sweet.

The whole Warbler scandal leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They won because they deserved it, and then the writers retroactively turn them into a corrupt nest of cheating druggies because they're too lazy or unimaginative to A) find a less contrived way to get ND back into the competition circuit, or B) don't have the imagination to come up with what to do with the rest of the season without competitions to base everything around.

All in all.....meh.

I'd love to tune in tonight and mock everything as I usually do, but Person of Interest is back and that takes top priority at 9, no question. Glee can wait until morning.
