So, just finished the whole episode, some thoughts:
- I was mildly entertained but fairly bored. Not as good as Dynamic Duets, Thanksgiving, and Swan Song.
- Tina and Blaine suddenly having these big crushes on Blaine and Sam when last we saw they were still pining away for Mike and Kurt is silly. Tina's especially. I can sort of understand how Blaine could get a crush on Sam: he's lonely, Sam has gone out of his way to befriend him and be a shoulder to cry on, etc. At least Blaine isn't as delusional about Sam as Tina seems to be about him, expecting him to kiss her, saying she's found the love of her life, etc. Tina....please.
- Puck/Kitty was a little creepy, especially the implication they had sex
- Zizes was so underused that they might as well not have brought her back at all
- Yay for Dom Barnes (Trent the chubby Warbler) for getting some dialogue
- "Baby Got Back" was ridiculous, and not in a good way. Just awkward and secondhand embarrassment. Yes, I realize it was supposed to be cheesy and ridiculous, but still.
- Rachel throws a hissy fit like a spoiled five-year-old because turkey burgers that take thirty seconds to reheat in the microwave got cold, and then five minutes later invites Brody to move in with her? Yea, this relationship is gonna go well.
- I don't find the guy who plays Adam appealing or charismatic at all, and looks-wise I think Kurt could do better, but oh well. It's not like he has a snowball's chance in hell anyway.
- At least Tina got to sing without breaking down halfway through, even if they still forced it to be in some horribly awkward context.
- Alex Newell is a much better-looking woman than man
- always like to see Beiste, even when she's just kind of "there" and doesn't do much
