I wouldn't even say that the show settled into anything since the seasons just got incredibly worse. The show still took itself semi seriously in S2&3. Now it knows it is a joke and it don't care.

An episode devoted to twerking. Glee, you have reached a new low. It's almost an accomplishment.

Also, Rachel would never get away in reality with the way she mouths off to college instructors and now Broadway directors (!) as if she's still in the choir room in a little school in Ohio where anyone knows or cares who Rachel Berry is. But instead of a semi-realistic and interesting plotline of her learning tough life lessons about reality and learning to temper her ego and gain realistic self-assessment, the show will lazily reward her sense of entitlement.

Not yet. That's in November 28's episode, apparently to be performed by Adam Lambert and Demi Lovato.

If it's any consolation, tonight features Marley singing Wrecking Ball and Schue singing Blurred Lines with his students.

What Does the Fox Say is so special, though. I'm not all that interested in Marley skanking it up Miley-style or Will putting himself on some sex offender database.

I need poorly done fox costumes and awkward yelping...

Honestly, I'd rather have Darren Criss doing What Does the Fox Say than Lambert/Lovato, just because A) he'd probably be more enthusiastic about it, and B) it'd probably be even more of a hot mess.

Just picture Darren prancing around the auditorium stage in a fox outfit, yelping.

They throw away tons of songs on Darren Criss, but one comes along that needed a dose of Darren, and they give it to Pamela Landsbury.

Seriously, if any song screams out to be covered by a Blaine-led New Directions in terrible fox costumes, prancing in a badly choreographed dance based on animal movements across the McKinley auditorium stage, complete with Darren's hilariously earnest singing face, it was What Does The Fox Say.

Will was alternately a wildly inappropriate and, gasp, shock, good teacher this episode. Stop giving me whiplash, Glee.

This episode wasn't as bad as I was afraid. I actually enjoyed Will's little dance history demonstration and thought, as dumb as I think twerking is, he made a half-decent defense of it.

I was pleasantly surprised by all the Finn stuff in this episode. I like that he's still a part of the show instead of being forgotten.

God, this kid is the worst......... is what I would say if every character on this show wasn't already in the running for "the worst" title.
