This past episode was infuriating in so many ways. Only the Kurt subplot I thought was cute.
Outside of being completely unrealistic that someone with absolutely NO theater credits would get cast as the lead in a big revival, Lea continues to show that all she knows how to do is copy Babs' every last move. She did it in her audition (something that in real life would NOT have gotten her even a callback) and she did it again in this episode. Can't Rachel make Fanny Brice her own?
Then the stupid haircut thing. In what world would the director freak out if his actor cut her hair? Maybe for TV or film, but in theater 99.9% of females where wigs regardless is the haircut is demanding or not. It's just easier to make sure the character's hair looks the same for every performance.
Still, the NYC stuff remains 100x more interesting that the mess going on at McKinley.
