A pierced tongue and a Bette Midler tattoo?

God, this kid is the worst......... is what I would say if every character on this show wasn't already in the running for "the worst" title.

Pssh, Rachel and Kurt (and the MIA Santana) are 2/3 or more of why I keep watching.

At this rate, it's less about what I like the most in this series, and more about what I hate the least.

Well that was an hr of 2nd hand embarrassment. Wrecking Ball had to be one of the worst performances in Glee history. Sounded ok but it didn't need a visual. And can they stop the happy song to end the episode? They become lamer and lamer.

I wasn't a fan of Wrecking Ball. I laughed when Marley started throwing bricks through the window. It would have been better if she just sang it in the choir room in front of everyone rather than ripping off the visuals from the music video. Same thing when they did Roar and Applause last week. Oh and Will should have been totally fired after acting pedo with those kids. I mean he should have been fired years ago but this was a new low.

Anytime they do a number that is basically an exact copy of the original music video, with the exception of Vogue AAAAALL the way back in season 1, it's usually lame.

Glee performances these last 2 years in general have been lackluster anyway.

And I have to wonder if Glee hasn't been given permission to do Royals since they would've done it by now.

Will..........:lmao: I'll give this ep one thing, it used the Beyonce song well for Unique situation. I thought Marley sang Wrecking ball well enough but they could have been more inventive with the visuals instead of just looking like a cheap version of the Miley video.

"Me against the Music", from "Britney/Brittany" and "Scream", from "Michael", were pretty good, imo.

They've over-done it with the scene-for-scene remakes. It's sort of like, alright, once was funny, twice less so, three times is overkill and now (with whatever number they're on) it's just annoying.

When they at least put a semi-fresh spin on these songs, cool. When it's just the actors in place of the original performers, and the creative minds behind the show think they're being oh so clever about it, enough is enough.

Re-watching Uniques performance back and jeez did the writers/director drop the ball. Having it all take place in the choir room was just lazy. Should've had Unique wondering around the school seeing couples being all coupley in the hallway, on the bleachers watching football practice, cheerios being girly with each other, basically all the things that Unique wants and how different she is from the normal kids.

And of course they should've kept up Ryders uncomfortableness with Unique from the end of S4 instead of just sweeping it under the rug.

I guess I'll be the odd one out and say that I enjoyed the episode.

Anyway, looks like they're doing the Birth in the Manger in the Christmas episodes, with the characters replacing the biblical figures.

I thought it was a lot better than A Katy or a Gaga.

I didn't feel much secondhand embarrassment watching it, while last week I couldn't even watch Roar, for example, when everyone started dancing around half-naked on the jungle set.

I'm finding myself agreeing with Sue more and more as the episodes go on. At this point, I'm starting to root for her to shut down the Glee club.

You know Will has slid off the deep end when Sue comes across like the reasonable one.

the season should end with sue finally getting rid of the glee club so season 6 can focus mainly on the characters in NY.

I'd laugh if Will's series-long storyline ended with unemployment. :funny:

Sam! SAM!! SAAAAAAAAAM!!!

Cut your ****ing hair. :o

That hair is awesome. You wish you could have it.

This episode wasn't as bad as I was afraid. I actually enjoyed Will's little dance history demonstration and thought, as dumb as I think twerking is, he made a half-decent defense of it.

That defense to the board actually reminded me of old school Glee.

And wills tantrum was so damn funny, best moment of the season maybe? Also I'm right there with you Schlosser85 on those feels.

That would be a good way to end Lima. Actually have the villain win for once and we still get a show.

This past episode was infuriating in so many ways. Only the Kurt subplot I thought was cute.

Outside of being completely unrealistic that someone with absolutely NO theater credits would get cast as the lead in a big revival, Lea continues to show that all she knows how to do is copy Babs' every last move. She did it in her audition (something that in real life would NOT have gotten her even a callback) and she did it again in this episode. Can't Rachel make Fanny Brice her own?

Then the stupid haircut thing. In what world would the director freak out if his actor cut her hair? Maybe for TV or film, but in theater 99.9% of females where wigs regardless is the haircut is demanding or not. It's just easier to make sure the character's hair looks the same for every performance.

Still, the NYC stuff remains 100x more interesting that the mess going on at McKinley.

It of course annoyed me how Rachels wig totally won the director over. Rachel can do no wrong.

I'm not trying to be a dick but realism has never really been a huge part of this show.

Promo for Jonathan Groff's new show:

I know, but GAAAAAAAAhmskfkkakad

Ok, I feel a bit better. :(

It would actually make Rachel's journey a lot more interesting if she didn't get everything handed to her on a silver platter.
