WB already kind of has with MOS. And they could very well try and remake GL (and do it properly this time).

Marvel actually utilized Nova Corps way better than what DC did with Green Lantern Corps. Without even having to use Nova at all. What a huge slap to the face.

I knew Pratt was gonna ****ing nail this role. But man he's just too awesome. Absolutely love him :hrt:

I need a gif of quill dancing lol can't wait for Blue ray, btw......3d was freaking amazing! Very rare for post.

I think Marvel got all the right people in just about every role for this film. I can't say any one character stood out as being miscast.

They're totally going to do a:
Star Lord/Gamora romance
in the sequel. Come on, those last few scenes are even close to being subtle in that regard.

I'm so jealous of all of you right now. I probably won't get to see this until home video. :cmad::cmad:

The weirdest thing I have ever seen happened at this movie with my wife. After the movie, which was packed, only 3 people got up to leave... two of those people noticed everyone else still sitting down and quietly took their seats again to watch the ending credits. Say what you want about who started scenes after credits but Marvel has made it part of culture.

Also the way Josh Brolin speaks in this movie is amazing.

well Figs, you will be waiting a long time, because Guardians of the Galaxy will probably not hit blu-ray till late November 2014 or December 2014, in time for Christmas.

Pic of Thanos!!

It was the opposite in my viewing. It emptied out and only just a tiny bit of people stayed, mostly us geeky comic book reading types. :p

I left early because I'd already watched the after-credits scene online. Thought I'd save myself some time leaving early.

Like I said it was weird. And everyone was so quiet during the credits... it was kinda surreal.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this soon. Can't believe how amazing the reviews are!

OMG me too man hahaha. That **** was hysterical :lmao: I was crying.

Yeah they really nailed it,

Oh for sure, and I for one can't wait to see it.

It still hasn't sunk in that whenever I watch any MCU movie or show, in the back of my mind I'll know that somewhere in that universe, [BLACKOUT]Howard the Duck[/BLACKOUT] exists. I can't believe we've gotten to this point.

I guess my town is full of geeks. The vast majority stayed. :word:

Oh I know. That's why I'm so pissed. Probably the first comic film I'll have missed on the big screen.

It's better that way. It gets awful lonely sometimes when you can't find someone to even go to the movies with you anymore. I'm lucky to have my daughter, my husband refuses to go after I dragged him to see Iron Man 2. :(

I actually prefer going to movies alone now.
See it when I want, sit where I want, no one talking in my ear. Early showing when not that many people are there? Almost perfection. Although the screenings for Transformers 4 and this were pretty packed. But when I saw Edge of Tomorrow it was largely empty and it was golden

I like the early show myself as well. There was only maybe thirty or so people in my showing this morning.
