Horror Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein

Kinda odd that Garfield dropped out when we don't know of any projects he's involved in.

Hmmm.......could he be involved in Beyond The Spider-Verse?

I doubt he’d leave working with GTD over another Spider-Man film. Especially just a voice role which most likely wouldn’t interfere anyway.

Hopefully it wasn’t the most likely creative differences in the end, as I’d really like to see Garfield and GDT work together at some point.

I'm more inclined to believe it was strike-related delays with other project(s) that Andrew couldn't get out of than creative differences, similar to why Steven Yeun had to drop out of Thunderbolts.

At least one of the articles said he's playing Carl Sagan in something and that was the issue.

A voice acting role that is a day, tops? No.

He has one thing going for him Frankenstein wise, He is quite tall.
Franky also is supposed to have handsome features, but corpsy skin and unnervingly creepy eyes.

I'd let Guillermo cook.

He's genuinely great in Priscilla. So there's that too.

He's a super good, interesting choice. The only reason he's underwhelming is he isn't Andrew Garfield which is a high bar.

I googled if Charles Dance was confirmed to be in this already and all that's coming up right now is him in that classic movie Victor Frankenstein. LOL

GDT out there switching hats on us like he's Einstein in Oppenheimer.

Out there rocking a cane like a boss.

Elordi can bring back that soft-inquisitive fear the original attempted at... let alone the novel's wonderful aspect.

Doesn't the Monster go to the arctic at some point in the book?

Yes. It's not a huge chunk of the story that takes place there so I'm impressed that GDT is going to an actual location for it rather than taking the lazy way like most would do and setting up a green screen set on a lot.

The Kenneth Branagh Frankenstein flick will always be nostalgic for me. Tis' also one of Bob De Niro's most under rated performances. Helena Bonham Carter pre Tim Burton! Before she decided to stay in ''dead girl goth mode'' forever. She had a bit more color to her, eh.
