The Force Awakens Han Solo Will Return

not that there's anything wrong with that...

I can't wait to see the tv appearance Harrison will make with the original cast in December to promote TFA. I have to hand it to JJ Abrams so far he's manage to keep this story so tight lip up sealed that hardly any major spoilers regarding the film have found it's way on the internet.

I don't know about that. The entire story has leaked online through MSW and similar outlets. It just doesn't seem to have been picked up by a lot of the mainstream outlets. The same seems to have happened with the Spectre leaks. The script and summaries of it are out there if one knows where to look, but most outlets have shown admirable restraint in not reporting the details. It seems more like movie "journalists" are just being more restrained in reporting spoilers so as not to ruin movies for people.

The reason it isn`t picked up by `mainstream`outlets is because no respectable outlet is going to ruin their reputation by spoiling a highly anticipated film. The only one who really care are pathetic people who have nothing better to do than spoil movies for themselves and others.

How tall is that horse you've got there?

Sorry, it is pathetic when you`re scrolling through a message board and see the death of a major character detailed. People who do that are pathetic, and any respectable news source would be lambasted for posting it. That`s just a fact, which is why you don`t see it on major sites.

Okay, but that's not what I highlighted in your post.

I'm not talking about spoiling it for other people, I'm talking about calling people who read spoilers pathetic.

If you read the entire rundown of the plot, yea that`s pretty pathetic. Sorry but it`s just the truth.

What would you consider those that come on boards and complain about how others decide to consume spoilers?

Willfully obtuse much? Going by your extremely flawed and myopic logic, then someone who reads a novel prior to seeing the film which is based on said novel is equally pathetic. Guess what... I'm one of those "pathetic" people you mentioned. Some of us just don't feel that knowing the plot of a film before its release is that big a deal or something that hinders our enjoyment of said film. If you don't want to read spoilers, then hey... that's cool and more power to you. But don't pass judgement on those of us who do.

While I highly disagree with people "in the know" who jump at those who aren't, you're generalizing and being very rude. Might I suggest that you...

Entertainment Weekly - Harrison Ford IS Han Solo

“No, there’s not an abandoning of the character,” Ford says, more earnestly than you’d expect from Mr. I-Guess-We-Watched-The-Trailer. “He does not aspire to the position of Obi-‘Ben’ Kenobi, nor do I aspire to be some New Age Alec Guinness. His development is consistent with the character, and there are emotional elements which have occasioned his growth.”

Fear not, though. Solo hasn’t grown that much. He seems to still have money issues, for starters. “We spend a lot more time [in the movie] on his failure to master basic skills, like accounting,” Ford says, rubbing his thumb and forefinger together. “And accounting for his own behavior. There’s a lot of the rogue still left in Solo. Some things don’t change.”

"I can’t imagine that Han Solo would ever not be a smartass. On the other hand, I’d like to think that he is very different at 30 than he is at around 70,” says J.J. Abrams. “When you live a life, you’ve had loss, you’ve experienced love and family and epiphanies and tragedies and disappointments and surprises. Those things accumulate.”
