Daredevil Hell's Kitchen Easter Egg Hunt

I saw this pointed out on another board:
Episode 13 had an extremely subtle Easter Egg [BLACKOUT]during Fisk's escape when they were swapping out trucks[/BLACKOUT]. One of the trucks had Atreus Plastics on the side. They were the explosives manufacturer that Heather Glenn realized her company was doing business with in 182-183.

Probably already said in episode 10 but there is an article about Hulk, in Harlem, where Hulk's victory is mentionned.

In that episode there is also a newspaper open at the bottom left of screen, on top of a filing cabinet – it's open showing a picture of footballer (well soccer to you guys) Marouan Fellaini who plays for Manchester United (spits) who's nickname is the Red Devils... don't think that was a coincidence.

I loved that Elektra Easter egg. It made me sit bolt upright. I just love when marvel takes care of the details

^^ Oh yeah. It's not that long ago since I read those issues with him in it, but I didn't think about that.

It's not named but based on Madame Gao's fighting ability and the fact that she said her home was much further away than China it's pretty clear she is from K'un-lun and will most likely reappear in Iron Fist.

That's exactly what I was thinking too. I don't remember her from comics though, was she made up for the show?

It's possible she's Crane Mother in disguise. The ruler of one of the other Cities of Heaven that compete with K'un L'un in the tournament.

Yeah, in name only. Perhaps the fact that her significant other was crappy is a similarity. That's the only justification I can think of for using the name.

Spiderman?

I'm too lazy to make a picture of it, but the episode that debuts Ben Urich, the scene when he's talking to the mob boss that wants to move to Florida, and they are gazing at the NYC skyline, well, if you look off to the left, you see this peculiar smoke trail, and I believe that was intended to be Ironman.

This is what I was talking about.

I doubt they would spend the time to add that in post, most likely it's just a jet trail that was there when filming.

That's either very coincidental, or someone sat there for like ten minute to line it up just right and hope there isn't a breeze.

.

Well, you think what you want to think and I'll think what I want to think!

Just curious, did anyone see Avengers Tower in the show at all? I looked for it whenever they showed a long shot of the city or had the skyline in the background, but I never saw it.

What the hell? I'm not even going to explain why whoever wrote that has no idea what he's talking about.

Eh, whilst you may be a big fan of Skye, a lot of people didn't like her.

Hmmm, not really an Easter Egg, but it's funny to note that Happy Hogan from Ironman seems to like the show Downtown Abbey, and Charlie Cox was in an episode....... I wonder if sometime in the future, if Happy meets Matt, would he be like, "you look so familiar!"

And if he meets Foggy he can say "your name sounds very familiar" :oldrazz:

I couldn't spot it and every skyline scene I couldn't help but look for it. I have a feeling they planed out each shot because adding the tower would have cost more money for just a cameo reference. Still I really wish they showed it in one of the scenes at the end where Daredevil in full costume on a rooftop.

I think he was referencing the "pretend she was an Inhuman all along" and doing it only because people didn't like her being way off base. There were plenty of setups in the first season that proves that sentiment wrong.
