Sounds like it might be Aquaman set visit embargo lifts. That's what has been hinted at.
I think the Cavill talks will turn out okay.
Snyder Cut?
Lol that WSJ article is coming this week
Even that is getting an official report before MOS2![]()
So just set visits? lol Damn. Probably get new Aquaman pics tho. Eh.
The initial responses were all about the Aquaman set visit embargo but Jeremy Conrad said it wasn't Aquaman. So I don't know.
I'm assuming it has to do with that WSJ article. Im guessing it comes out tomorrow and it'll bring some good news...
I think Sams point was this very post being made
He dun did it again
My perspective on a potential Lois and supporting roles recast is thats WB may see the previous incarnation as tainted. WB may think that a Rebirth for the character is whats needed. They may also know having to pay more money for the current cast simply isnt worth it so they may want to save money there.
The supporting roles are a lot easier to recast than Superman too.
Again this isnt me saying they are going too but I dont think we should rule out the possibility that they pull a soft reboot on us.
Honestly I think Henry and Amy will stay on but I dont think well see Fishburne back as Perry or Eisenberg back as Lex. I also dont think well be seeing Swanwick, Jenny or Farris again.
Just to up the tinfoil hats: Snyder just posted on Vero that he's in San Diego and Aisha Tyler, who hosts the panel, has liked a post on twitter asking her if there's going to be a Snyder Cut presentation in SDCC...![]()
Conrad said it's not the WSJ article or the Snydercut. It will be a guessing game until tomorrow. At least, it's not supposed to be negative. Take that as a win.
I saw rumblings on twitter about possible casting news on monday a few days ago. We shall see.
Confirmation on the Batman situation could be as well. GL Corps has a director could be as well. Actually it could be anything...
Even if Cavill signed on for say, 6 films as an example lol, I would still not expect Amy Adams to sign up for another 3 films. That's just my feeling and totally cool with a recast. That's all. No insincere comment from my part.
Henry Cavill and his agent Danny Garcia are greeted at the gate of WB by midget Charles Roven.
Roven: The last time we met, you was taking a piss out of the bad cgi on your face.
Cavill: I seem to remember a different cut. Both smile and hug embrace each other/
Roven: You stand in the presence of Walter Hamada of House Low Budget Horror Films, rightful heir to the WB Throne, rightful Chief of the NEW DC Properties and the First Producer Men, Protector of Director Cuts, the Father of Budgets, the Khaleesi of the Great Brass Sea, the Underrated, the Breaker of 2.5 hr Films.
Danny Garcia: This is Henry Cavill. He is your Superman.
Hamada: Thank you for traveling so far, I hope the seas werent too rough.
Cavill: The winds were kind, chief.
Hamada: So I assume, youre here to bend the knee and sign a new contract.
Cavill: I am not.
Hamada: Well, that is unfortunate. Youve traveled all this way to break faith with WB?
Cavill: Break faith? Your bald director gave me fake lips. He burned my soul alive. He would have burned the original Snyder cut
Hamada: Whedon was an evil man. On behalf of this new DC Management, I ask your forgiveness for the crimes he committed against you. And I ask you not to judge a new commanding chief for the sins of his predecessor . I am the last Producer these DC films will ever have. Honor the pledge your previous agent made to us. Bend the knee and I will name you Superman for many years to come.
Garcia: I know my accent only works with The Rock in the room with me, but Lord Cavill only has one more film left, your grace, he deserves a better pay.
Hamada: DC films going forward will be tight on budget and low on big brand names. Sign on and I promise you after the storm rinses away, your house shall be paid in gold.
Garcia: Looks around. I don't like that deal.
Hamada side eyes Roven/
Cavill: Youre right. Youre not guilty of your predecessors crimes. And Im not beholden to my previous agents vows.
A bald tub of lard Geoff Johns walks into the room and whispers something into Hamada's ear.
Hamada: It seems our enemies to the east have surpassed our JL numbers yet again.
Cavill: Am I your Superman?
Hamada: Not yet.

Actually the state of the DCEU is so bad at the moment that I'd gladly take confirmation of Reeves staying as great news...![]()
Im a peacock! You gotta let me fly! Most underrated comedy in recent years. I really wish they would have done a sequel to that instead of daddys home 2.
Ya I think Matt's fine, multiple sources have reported the movie is heading into pre-production aiming for an April shoot.
Lol the sequel would have done well and they should hire Affleck and Cavill as the super cops haha
This furthers my suspicion that it may be about Affleck because the fandom doesn't seem particularly united about what they want to happen there.Could be. That "great news for some" DCEU fans was a bit weird. Why would it be for "some" and not for all?
According to Conrad, it's movie news and it's coming from a big trade tomorrow. He said Aquaman set visit is coming later but the big news isn't that.
It has to be The Batman, BoP, GLC or Flash. Or something else.
