BvS Henry Cavill IS Superman - Part 1

Was there ever this many girls drooling over Superman once Super Returns had come out? I don't think Routh had this large of a fan base. It's really nice to see Cavill getting all this support of admiration he's been getting from fans and his fellow actors. Dude's just straight up humble. Definitely on the way to becoming the Superman of this generation

Cavill was much more well known than Routh when he was cast as Supes. More importantly, he was already famous for being a total hottie. When Routh was cast, the first reaction was, "Who?" then "Hm, I guess he's good-looking."

Henry does seem to do something to females, even in interviews where it's supposed to be professional he had them giggling like school girls. Then there was that British interview where the host just wanted everything to stop and people to stare at Henry.

Poor Routh. First, he wasn't featured on the cover of EW's Superman 75th anniversary issue; then, Snyder and Timm neglected to include his likeness in their new animated short. (They even put Welling on the cover!)

^ They didn't put Kirk Alyn on the magazine cover or the 75th anniversary clip either. If you're going for the most memorable live action performances, Alyn and Routh are near the bottom of the barrel.

Yeah i'd say welling looks more out of place there than Routh would have. At least you'd have routh in an actual superman outfit sheesh. Welling looks like a random male model who was accidentally photoshoped into a superman collage.

He's definitely bigger than he was even just a couple of weeks ago. It's very noticeable on his arms for sure...I can't believe production goes all in in just about 4 months!

No Henry is not on the juice. Twight wouldn't even let him get near it. Yes steroids can make it easier to gain muscle mass. They allow the body to recover faster by helping the body repair the damage done to muscle tissue quicker than the body can do it alone. You still have to have a decent diet while taking them and a pretty good workout plan as well. Steroids aren't some magical elixir.

Yeah, and Amy took full advantage of that. I watched the movie again just recently and her hand was all over his hair and dug up in there.

This whole time I thought I was working out for myself and the ladies :-/

While you I and most other guys do that Anita18 does have a point, most guys are impressed with the work I've done on my body, most women I come across just say 'you are getting too muscley' lol

Grrargh! Now you've done it! I've gone to that site and they've posted more screencaps of the workout/sfx segment. I've looked at about half of the images before I could wrench myself away and now my anticipation for this Bluray/DVD is that much worse. I can't even...I don't... Henry Cavill, why must you be so ridiculously, epically beautiful in every thing you do?!! ¿Por qué?

No, there was padding. That is simply the nature of superhero costumes. They are tight, restrictive fabrics that make you look smaller than you actually are and flatten out muscle definition, so a muscle suit/padding is necessary for the actor's hard work to actually show through. It's been mentioned before by people involved in the production that there was a "muscle suit" based on a cast of Cavill's actual body between the outer layer of the suit and the inner layer which is against the skin.
