I wonder how or what they'll do to play off his obvious attractiveness. I mean, DP Clark did look very nerdy, to me anyway, but he's still a bit of a stud. Maybe they'll counteract it by having be such an overly nice guy, he comes off as boring?

Awww, he is too cute. And I know lots of people make fun of the glasses disguise, but to me he did look fairly different as DP clark than as Superman. I was surprised by the change at the end, actually. I don't think it would be enough to fool Lois if she saw him every day, but he did look different. Quite adorkable.

But Lois did know who he was at the end. I thought they made that obvious, especially since she knew him as Clark Kent prior to him donning the cape.

I know she knew. I just meant that if they hadn't let her know, it wouldn't have been that believable since she sees both Clark and Superman often. Having her know is a nice change from previous movies.

Alright. I agree it is a great change. I don't get the people who are stuck on the old false Clark-Lois-Supes love triangle deal.

I don't either. Maybe they like the comedy of it. Or just like things to be traditional. I never really liked it because it made Lois look a bit dim, IMO. To be honest, I think there is plenty of room for funny and romantic scenes with her knowing.

Agreed. I want to see the two of them trying to keep it professional, mostly succeeding, but slipping up every once in a while. A lot of snarking (mostly on Lois's end) and flirty banter would be a must for me. Lois compensating for being in deep for Clark by being extra critical of his work. *sigh* I guess I'm hoping for too much.

I don't know how Henry or whoever pulled it off but I thought Clark DP Clark and Superman did look different. We'll have to see more of him as DP Clark but the personality seems to be different than what he played before in the film. Even something as subtle as him looking around the place like a tourist in NYC

I still remember his scene with this girl in the corridor......
Henry was so SEXY!! (and young and funny and good in that movie!)

There's something interesting with the fact she (Loïs) is always talking about superman and how she loves him while he's just before her eyes, but unknowing it. Somehow, Clark could have an opinion on himself by Loïs.

But it's weirdo when the Loïs starts mistreating Clark because he seems so antisocial, shy and weak as Clark Kent the journalist.
What a pity for Dean Caine to be constantly mistreated. (well, I'm exagerrating here)


But I agree with the fact this version is better because their relationship's going to be great. They keep a secret, together they SHARE something.
He is NOT lying anymore, at least not to her. And that's awesome

As long as Goyer doesn't try to DarkKnight MOS2, we can have those moments.

I really think there are about three things Goyer/Snyder have to do to make a really good/great movie.

1. Focus on the characters.
2. Do Batman justice.
3. Have fun with quite a bit of humor to it. No need to try to make it feel Nolanesque.

I think they definitely need to show a bit more difference between his DP and Superman look and persona. Little things like having his fringe down, and seeming less confident as Clark would go a long way in making it work. I feel like they can kinda get away with it just at the end of MOS, but for a full movie of DP Clark/Superman there needs to be some serious distinguishing.
