Glad to see Kent show up for work!t:
ALRIGHT, not going to lie. When I first saw this photo, I got this abundance of joy and butterflies in my stomach. I'm freakin EXCITED to see Cavill's Clark Kent! Bring it on. Can't wait.
The idea of Clois doing some reporting in Gotham City is so exciting. It's finally starting to kick in that we're actually to be seeing BATMAN AND SUPERMAN on the big screen together for the first time ever.
It's like catching lightning in a bottle. We're witnessing something that hasn't occurred since these legendary characters first came into being. Years from now (if films of this ilk maintain relevance), DC characters appearing side-by-side in a big-budget feature will seem pretty commonplace. Don't get me wrong: Justice League movies and the like will still be exciting as hell for future generations of fans; it just won't be quite the same as what we're experiencing now. In a way, they will have already been exposed to what we have yet to see -- the birth of the DCCU on film.
^^This comment. Spine tingling. Goosebumps.
Well it was pretty much a given that Clark would most likely make his way to Gotham, especially with the USA article (that debuted the Superman picture), where Snyder said that the story takes Clark to several places, one of them being Gotham.
Seriously, after...good lord, essentially all of he previous superman films of where Clark's profession as a Journalist was either highly underused or forgotten completely, I'm ready to see "Clark Kent: Mild-Mannered Reporter" in action.
I know it wouldn't be much for others, but I would just get excited from Clark introducing himself to someone as a Daily Planet Reporter, asking questions about any given incident or topic as part of his profession. We have YET to see that happen on any film.
