I think Cavill's new suit looks great. I like it much better than the MOS suit. I really like the colors and that the piping/Captain Marvel-ly gauntlet things have been toned down a lot. I also like that the texture isn't as pronounced and snake skin like here. This one looks more like a Superman costume.

I could even see the red trunks working with it and think that'd be great but the suit works fine either way here...probably the closest we're going to get...they did a good job.

When Superman and Batman were created the beauty ideal society strived towards was still this tall man with broad shoulders, blue eyes and black hair, stereotypically present in the old aristocrats. Both, Affleck and Cavill fit this description quite well.
