BvS Henry Cavill IS Superman - Part 2

You know, for all of the serious stuff that was in the film, I actually really enjoyed the fact that they allowed people see on how much fun Clark can (should) actually have when discovering his powers for the first time, let alone when he finally masters one.

The reaction that he had after finally learning on how to control his flight power made him even more emphatic with audiences since you could easily picture most people having the same look on their face when discovering that they can fly.

Plus, I can't remember the last time when I saw Superman actually enjoy using one of his powers on film like MOS showed.

I saw and experienced that scene just fine Especially when I saw it in IMAX.

In contrast, I actually enjoyed the bits that really highlighted Supes isolation. I just thought that fit with the general theme of the movie. Plus Cavill did a great job of conveying those emotions. It made those moments of happiness shine that much more.

There is one particular shot of Superman, during that scene, that is so close to Reeve's face it's uncanny. I think it's the eyes and the thin lips in this one shot. This is as close to that one split second that I could get....

it would be great to see him fly in a brightly lit, midday metropolis sky, enjoying himself, he may have just been accepted by the public, or had a good time with lois, he stops and waves at a child in an apartment block, or a smoker on top of a roof - you know, something out of this world but stinking of superman! A man that can fly, his cape flowing behind him as he glides effortless through the city, and happy to be doing it! That would be awesome

Cavill's facial morphology is a bit similar to Reeve's (the jawline and such), and from that angle, the similarity is especially pronounced. They also share additional phenotypic traits, such as dark hair and light eyes. That said, Reeve's likeness wasn't used for the film; it's not him.

I don't think it's a Reeve cameo, either. I think he just happens to have a similar facial structure and tends to look the same when sucking in his cheeks.
