That looks awesome, and the close up of the suit looks AMAZING. I'd imagine that if this movie had been put into production, a good look at that suit would have had many a disgruntled fanboy giving it the benefit of the doubt. It looks so awesome and shiny and alien...

I'd definitely appreciate it if you guys released more.

The suit, although a bit on the cheesy side, is actually not that bad. Except for that abdominal padding. Whew, that is just awful.

By the way, Glamour magazine has voted Henry Cavill the sexiest man alive. He beat out Robert Pattinson.

Thanks for posting this! It's pretty amazing to see how great Henry looked for the role, even then, and in such a sub par costume. I hope to see more pics or video clips of this screen test.

This is him at age 21 but he still had a manly look back then. I frankly though it he was a pretty boy in his early youth but this picture shows that with the right hair he could still look masculine.

Also love the nasty expression on his face. It kinda says "I am going to **** you 50 different ways."

The suit itself though. It looks like plastic with all the sculpted muscles. It kinda shows that very own directors were trying different ways to capture Superman's musculature on film with plastic (this version) and CGI (Green Lantern) but Snyder did it best. He used most of the actor's natural muscle to provide the muscularity of Superman. He said in the Q & A that the was probably the hardest part in creating the MOS suit and I think he did a fantastic job.
