BvS Henry Cavill IS Superman - Part 2

I can see Luthor using an image like this one to help propagate his hateful agenda against Superman. I imagine that he would really want to hit home the message that Clark is an otherworldly monster, and something to be feared.

On a side note, I love the way they added CG veins around Cavill's eyes whenever Superman was required to use his heat vision.

The heat vision was portrayed in a truly excellent way. By far the best it's ever looked all around.

Very true! Someone gave that some thought and it showed. It's better than any other version I've seen and what I appreciated most is it looked the most like his comic laser vision.

Yep. It's so much cooler than this poor imitation we got with Smallville. I think my urine looks more impressive than that.

It's sad because the had a larger budget on SR and it nearly looked as bad as that.

Cavill really sold it with the heat vision. I love that one scene where he uses it to cut the beam Zod was aiming at him. I have always wanted to see him use it in that sort of quick thinking sort of way outside of the comics and cartoons.

The heat vision looked fine in Smallville, you can't have a go at FX that are not only dated but not done in the context of a feature film. I really don't get why people feel the need to big stuff up by knocking older things down all the time.

Yes, for sure. I have been watching and reading a lot of Superman stuff lately and it's so obvious. Some scenes are nearly identical.

Yeah, Cavill really did sell it like a boss. I also appreciated the way he would look up and sort of strain right before he took to the skies.

I was disappointed by the heat vision on Smallville from the very start. You're entitled to think it looks fine, but everyone doesn't share your opinion.

To each their own. I found it one of the coolest features in the movie. It made me want to see more of it and how they do other powers.
