Ha ha I couldn't disagree more but to each their own.
Okay...:woot: If we are comparing FX to FX then SV is better, but I like that it was laser vision instead of heat vision, which I disagreed with on premise. We may call it heat vision, but should look like laser vision.

The heat vision looked fine in Smallville, you can't have a go at FX that are not only dated but not done in the context of a feature film. I really don't get why people feel the need to big stuff up by knocking older things down all the time.

I was disappointed by the heat vision on Smallville from the very start. You're entitled to think it looks fine, but everyone doesn't share your opinion.

I have to agree with BH/HHH. In fairness, that picture you posted of Smallville's heat vision was from a pretty early episode, and it's an awful picture. It may actually be the first time Clark experienced heat vision in the show, I can't recall exactly.

As the show went on and his character got stronger, the effect became much better. You have to remember this was only a TV series on a very limited budget, I think they did fine considering what they were working with.

One of my favorite SV scenes was when (random guy #1) shoots at Lex and instead of catching the bullet, Clark melts it with his heat vision. Very cool shot for a tv show.

The heat vision in MOS was perfect, everything I wanted it to be.

These are my thoughts on the matter, just in case someone was wondering. :woot:

If anyone is interested, El Mayimbe is tweeting up a storm about how Cavill will barely appear in this movie and it's all about Batman now.

No one interested? Good then. F*** him.

Two thoughts:

Heat vision was done perfectly in MOS. Loved it. Don't want it changed.

**** El Mayimbe.

I can't wait to see how Josh Brolin plays Batman...oh wait...

I'm not too worried about that as of yet. It could very well turn out that way, but I'm in a holding pattern. I tend to think there's going to be some split to the movie. I will not be surprised if Batman saves the day...:whatever:...never surprised by that in a team up.

if he doesn't, what for to put him in?

Oh El Maybe... Yeah, we get a rumor about SUPERMAN'S arch nemesis but the film is going to be ABOUT el los hombre del Bats?

he's just being dickish.

Yeah. It's all just because Chris Terrio is writing. He's just jumping to conclusions/trolling.

sigh

Yeah saw that. Such an immature dousche.

Ben Affleck worked with a Terio written script before so got him on board to punch up the Batman scenes in this movie.

Guess who Henry Cavill can get.... Woody ****ing Allen! :woot:

Wait they get the Argo writer to help with the script and suddenly it's a from the ground re-write in which Henry Cavill gets 10 minutes of screentime? Yeah I think Warners would have just made another Batman film if that were true.

don't get the joke. what woody allen got to do with HC?

BH...I would never do that, but I actually thought L&C had a better version for their time then SV.

Both of them could have been better. I know as time went on people didn't like the heat vision = horny teenager angle. LnC's was too normal and boring IMO, Smallville's had too much emphasis on fire. Both were better than Superman Returns heat vision.

Henry Cavill was in a Woody Allen film. "Whatever Works" was the title I believe.

Nothing. He's just trying to make a dig at Cavill that makes no sense.

I think you fail at comprehension. It was a compliment.

I meant, that Ben Affleck can get Chris Terio. But Cavill can one up him and get the legendary Woody Allen.

But I guess you are determined to read everything I write as negative or twist it somehow, so my explaining is useless.
